Was at the local pic'n'pull and I found a piggie. (a 45lv too but I put that in the 45 section) She's a bit rusted out and picked over but a few good parts. Looks to be a 79 with the rear lights in good shape. The PS rear is cracked. The rear axle is still on, rear springs, glass, a few good parts left.

Nice find. I see several parts on my needs list. Any chance you'll be making a return visit?

It has the mythical bench seat head rests which top my list.

Let me know.

Thanks,
-Norm

If everyone is interested in parts, I may be able to go out and pickup a few things if they are in good shape in easy. it wasn't my intention to try an sell/part as I don't even own a 55 anymore :frown: not too mention how busy i am, but if enough interest is there, I might be able to do something.

I'd be interested in the carb coolling fan relay, head rests and seat belts if they were in decent shape - and if it's not too much of a hassle.

PM'd ya on this and the 45LV!!

Howdy! I always thought all the exclusive rear end parts were like hen's teeth. Tail lights, tail gate, weather stipping. That complete rear bumper looks like it might salvage pretty easy. Rear window motor, hood, mirrors, window regulators, dash parts. I'd talk to the yard man about stripping it for a few bucks. Even the readiator and front bumper have some value. John

Sounds like I've got enough interest in some parts. I won't be able to go pull anything until saturday. So unless someone comes in before me to grab them I can try and make a list of what people want.

I'm a little leery as this was a big pain parting my old 55 in my garage...so parting it at the yard could be even more fun.

If I was closer I'd be there. Is this one of the yards that charges by the wheel barrow load?

Nope, they have a parts list they sometimes follow. It's a set price on parts.

parts are disappearing. I just went back out to look again. The headrests are already gone. No inner door panels/handles, no radiator

there are very few cruiserheads in greeley...and I basically know them all. Somones definitely getting some goods though.

I sent my dad out there to get some parts.
Lets see what he got.
If he grabbed anything he dont need I will post it on here for you guys.

I'm looking for the inner door panels. I'm interested in the vinyl condition, if the wood is cracked or broken or water logged I don't care so long as the vinyl is OK. Also the cargo area mat.

Hey damn it - I called dibs on the seat belts first! LOL

Seat belts (front and back) along with the carb cooling fan relay. I'll add the gauge cluster too it it's still there.

It's a feeding frenzy on the poor pig carcass. :crybaby:
