We've got a confirmation that the pontoon boat for Saturday will hold 14 people, we just need to know how many little people lifejackets we'll need...

Saturday night's dinner will be Mexican potluck, so make your best dish, and share with everyone! I've heard there are some Rotel dishes floating around the Upstate group!
are cupcakes considered Mesican? :D

Anyone know if we can bring dogs? I can look it up if not.

I've taken Friday off and we'll be headed down that morning in the wife's Odyssey and leaving the 40 in the garage given the hot weather and desire for A/C. (Guess I need to save up for a 100 series for the :princess:) We should arrive by lunchtime if all goes well.

The :princess:(Laura) and our girls (Kate and Allie, ages almost 7 and 4, respectfully) are coming. Please count us in for wanting to go out on the pontoon boat.

Also, my daugther Kate just got a new fishing pole. I hope some of you will help teach her (and me) how to fish.

Lastly, Laura is a great cook and I'm sure she'll bring something tasty for Saturday's potluck.

JP and Mary Ellen are coming. I also hear through the grapevine Andy is coming and staying at my campsite.

I'm going to be there with the family early Friday morning. We are planning on hanging out on the water friday afternoon. Then My wife and our youngest are going home. I'll be camping with My 5 year old friday and sat night if she makes it that long. Plan is to do some fishing Maybe friday night and Sat morning. Then hang out and cart some people around to see some of the lake and drop some off to fish the streams. I'm planning on heading out Sunday morning sometime.

All of this sounds great.
Heather will be making her mango salsa on site and I will be making stuffed peppers ala Jason Free.
We will be hitting camp sometime on Friday.

Updated the last list of confirmed campers and sites. Look forward to seeing y'all soon.

This is a link to a map I made with just about everything I know about the lake.

Thanks again for providing this! It looks like folks will need to arrive before 9 in order to register for the camp sites. I think the late Charlotte crew will be cutting it close!

We might need someone to register for us and get the combo for the lock.

Well you know my campsite number. You can always park and walk. Also my phone # is eight 644140563 . You can try calling me.
There is cell service up there it can be spotty at times.

It could be like Lake James and there's a keyed lock and NO access after 9. May want to make it a point and get on the road before 7ish

I probably need to be leaving for Al's house around 6ish...going to be a push!

Pre-packing is done (stuff is organized and stacked around the kitchen table). Gonna head out around 10:30-11:00 from ATL. One task to do before heading out...picked up the bike rack from Alf in preparation for Mudship of bike. The rack doesn't line up with the retaining pin in my hitch receiver so gonna do some modification to make it work. Gotta drill another 5/8" hole to make it work.

Just a few last things to throw in the wife's Odyssey before we can head out. We've packed Sequence and Cornhole to keep us entertained in the evenings.

We'll be on the road by 10 am from Tega Cay but plans are to stop in Greenville on the way for a pitstop. I'm sure I'll be setting up camp in the heat of the day.

Should anyone need to reach me my email is charlotte49er AT gmail dot com and phone is Seven 04 Seven 79-4999.

David
