Who's planning on coming?
I'm planning on taking Friday off and going up in the morning and doing some trolling for trout all day. The hang out around camp that night. Planning on the family coming in Sat afternoon and find a nice beach to hang out on and do some exploring. They won't last long. So 3 hrs later I'll be back to do some more fishing or hit the trails. If anyone wants to go for a hike I can take them across the lake and drop you off.

Jeremy has a boat as well. Don't know if he's bringing it though.
I am, but it's small. Only a 15' bass boat. It might be good for a single person to ride along. I will be with my family, wife and 4 year old son. We had a blast taking the boat out on Little River Inlet this weekend, and my son LOVED it. I know he will enjoy this trip, I just hope it isn't going to be too hot.

I'm taking off that Friday (July 22nd) and will be there with the family (wife and 2 daughters, almost 7 and 4 years old).
We've got a large fan to keep the air moving in the tent at night as I am sure it will be hot. Let me apologize now for the noise.
We plan on spending most of our time in the water or on the sand beach but hope to borrow a kayak or canoe from a neighbor for the trip.

Hi will probably be in the high 80's and lows in the 60's. That's about uasual that time of year up there. Water temps will be cool. Not hot like the other lakes due to Bad Creek dumping in cold water as well as all the streams that flow in. This lake is also a great place to go diving.

Shelley and I are gonig to try and make this one. We will be returning from Costa Rica the week before so it will likely be gametime decision for us. Anyone going to have any extra room at their site?

Well, tell Janet that Ella made her debut at Uwharrie at 7 weeks, so it's past time that BOYS make it out to a camping event!

Looks like most of the RV/Tent sites are now booked, so unless you're sharing, this trip is now full. There are some "rustic" tent spots and some boat in spots, though, but you'll be away from the main group.
Agenda, I'll let the group dictate the outings, and since the Upstate guys are more familiar with the area, I'm going with the flow.
Saturday night dinner, shall I suggest a potluck of some sort. No theme needed, just make what you do best!
I'm sure a spur of the moment water balloon fight will be had at some point, everyone bring some ammo...
NC guys are not allowed to bring firewood into the campsite, so we'll acquire some in SC, if none is already available.

For a couple of different reasons, we are having to back out. Mainly due to a recently over-stressed travel and entertainment budget
I have a RV/Tent site (59) I was going to cancel, but if anyone wants to keep it for $30 just let me know. That's about what I'd get back from the park after cancelation, and that is for Fri and Sat night. Sorry we'll miss this one.
Let me know by Wednesday and I'll not cancel.
