I KNOW, the suspense is killing me, too. I didn't grab any pics when I went to look, and by the time I got home the seller had removed the C-List ad! @ginericLC and I are headed over next weekend to grab them... stay tuned!

HEY WELCOME TO THE STYE! Good to have another 55 in town. I know of about 5 now that are in town or close by. I'm trying to finish up a freshening of my pig (lipstick). Hope to be done this June. My two month freshen began in 12/14. Love of the pig is never ending, it's true love - hate, it sucks you in like the worst quicksand ever. But whenever you're feeling down, or stuck on a issue, come to this place. You'll always have friends that will give you support, the answers to the most complex questions, and more than anything else - understanding. Swine flu can't be cured but can learn to live with it happily!

Welcome - we really do need to get a Idaho Pig Meet going!

Thanks for the welcome, Bob. I'll reach out to you and the other local pigsters once these arrive next weekend. I look forward to meeting you in person. And I agree with the praise for this site - two years ago I bought my first cruiser and would have been lost, broke, and/or stranded without the expertise (and opinion!) of the members here.

Thanks! I think so. What impressed me the most was the relatively low amount of rust in the troublesome spots. The rain gutters look great on the red & white one - in fact the peeling headliner meant I could stare at the underside of the roof and was blown away. The frame looks good, and the body is pretty straight with minimal dings/dents/tweaks.

The green is a little rougher, but still not as bad as it could be. Should be a fun project for sure.

I don't think you're going to need much from the green one. The red one looks to be complete and a couple of Bob's patch panels for the fenders, you're good to go. Good buy!

Congrats and welcome to pigdom. Both look to be in decent shape with "expected" pig rust. As long as the roof seam is in good shape the rest should be easy. As @bobm said - get it drivable then deal with the body work. Should be a fun summer - and post more pics!
