I'm up for a run into this place. That and I hear the Muster Grounds will be
open in April.
I went by the Hush Hole the other day and saw a buttload of empty trailers at the entrance.
I'm gonna have to talk to my buddy/client about a pass into this private area.
:grinpimp:

I was in there last year. Some nice wheeling grounds.

That was the first place I ever wheeled at Clemson, even before Mtn Estates.. went there with Gehn way back in like 2003..... then some hot shot lawyer told me to stear clear of there ;)

old skool I tell you.....

hush hole 2004-3.webp

lol lawyer told u to steer clear of mtn estates?

Yeah i kknow. I went in there once on a 4wheeler. Was not a good experience. Bought killed myself.

Hush hole is a very rough place. I couldn't even get my rear locked 4runner into the darn place. Glad I didn't too, the gullies in there would have destroyed it.

Did someone say Mtn Estates? My ears were burning and all I can remember was the crunching sound of gehn's quarter panels being destroyed.

Wow....look at that signature, and boy does it need some updating!

Omg. Hey man how are you doing? Where have you been? You have no excuse for the 7 year absence.

And yeah there was nothing like the feeling of riding on you quarters and doors for 100 ft on your side. Pretty sure no vehicle came out of that trail without body damage.

Holy Blast from the past Matt, you are alive???

7 years? Has it been that long? I went back into the military and now I'm working for the state dept in Afghanistan. Ive been over here for about two years now. I haven't been completely landcruiser-less. I drive a fzj100 thats up armored. Im sure going to miss that thing when I come home.

I still have my 62 but shes been sitting for the better part of five years. Last time I was home, I cleaned her up and changed the wires, plugs, dist. cap and put some seafoam in her belly. I couldn't get her to turn over but I did order a new starter. I'll be coming home for break in March and I plan(fingers crossed) on getting her running again. I'll be traveling back to the states the day you guys are going to make the run up to Jocassee. I'll be home again in June-July and will try to catch up with the club then.

Oh I also bought a 13' Trail Edition 4runner. It will be my DD, while i slowly get the LC back into running condition. I wouldnt say that Im 100% back since Im over here most of the time but I will renew my membership and try to stay active on the boards. I'll also get my lady friend involved, she just recently got the LC fever.

 gents!

Let's go!!!
Bonnie be missing dirt oh yes.
Most anytime, especially weekdays. 864-593-2062.

Anybody want to check it out this Sunday March 10th?

They closed the park. Word is Pickens made the close it due to mud on the road.

That is rediculous. They have places all over S.C. where dirt trucks and logging trucks enter roads and they are always covered with mud. Sounds like time to raise hell at a city /county council meeting!

If that is the reason they closed.... thats an easy fix. All they need is a pressure washer on site to blow off the worst of the mud before you get out on the road.
