Went camping at the Rubicon. No, we did not take the GX on the trail, but my buddy did take me to the Beer Tree in his SxS. Can’t wait to run this trail. No lockers on the GX yet, and would need an actual rear bumper for this.

Picked up a KickAss Battery Box for a Battle Born 100ah battery I purchased a while ago. Finally gonna put it to use. I’m thinking I’ll put it here.

Started installed my RedArc BCDC1250D into the back of my drawers, identified a grounding point and made a grounding harness.

Connected all associated harnesses/wiring for the RedArc, mounted the optional KickAss Battery Mounting tray and installed the battery. Fired everything up and all is working. I now can charge my battery via alternator and my fridge will have power from this Dual Battery setup instead of the Bluetti Solar Power Station.

Installed two 100watt BougeRV Yuma CIGs solar panels. These use an adhesive backing to attach. After attaching the panels, I just needed to wire them to a MC4 to 50Amp Anderson Plug and ziptie the wiring to make it clean and less snaggable (probably not a real word).

Modified a Milwaukee Pack Out Tray, so I can securely put a Milwaukee XL Pack Out, which replaced my camping cooking storage bin.

Got the call from Marlin Crawler that my RCLT HD kit was ready. We scheduled a day for install and these photos are from the day I dropped of DJ to get RCLT Surgery!

The amount of documentation here...idk where you find the time. Anyways RCLT is amazing, what coilover/shocks are you going with? The real question is how long until you get the dual case center diff installed ;)?

I went with Rad Flo front and rear. I will get dual case when they come up with an adapter for this transmission.

After about 10 days of being transformed at Marlin Crawler, I picked up DJTheGX!

I was lucky enough to get the new textured coating for RCLT HD!

This is one of the best-documented GX threads out there, if not one of the best on MUD. Well done, @JEFFKISTHENAME

If you don't mind me asking, how much did Marlin Crawler charge for the RCLT install? Obviously having the manufacturer themselves do it is the best way to do it, just curious if they charge a premium to do it in-house. No worries if you don't want to divulge the $$$$ ($$$$$?), haha.

First. Thank you!

Second, I’ll list labor costs, but mind you, these prices are subject to change. Use it as a reference. I didn’t get any special treatment or discount on labor, so this is pretty accurate. If you have the time, and are a decent welder, this is doable at home. I can mig weld fine, but where I may have struggled is clearancing the steering shaft and I probably would not have attempted the Hydro Bump Install.

Labor Cost:
Install of RCLT - $3,350
Hydro Bump Install - $2,150
Welding of HD Frame Brackets - $450
Welding of Double Shear Bracket - $125
Pressing Wheel Bearings onto Hub - $140
Alignment - $189
