After playing in the snow a bit, and doing a small recovery 😅, we had pizza in Roseville. Our friend Michael came to have dinner with us too since he couldn’t make the day run.

The first photo is of Chris’s Dana 60 from East Coast Gear Supply. This is the influence for my decision to go with a Dana 60. It’s your fault Chris. The remaining photos were taken and edited by Chris. The gold GX belongs to my buddy Dylan.

We were having a mod day. I put on my new Mickey Thompson Baja Boss ATs in 315/70R17LT and I decided now was the time to cut.

Cut off the front of my sliders to clear the 35s. Welded theme closed using some flux, sanded it and coated it with SteelIt.

Stripped an Allen Bolt Head on one of my LP9s trying to replace a cracked cover. Had to drill out the head and mill through the broken bolt and remove the left over material. Repair was a success.

I really like the Baja style fenders on that gray GX470 in a couple of the pics on page 9. Wish someone would make them for the 460, then you wouldn't have to cut your fenders!

Speaking of fender cutting, any regrets cutting them? Also, do you plan on doing a clearance cut on the rears also??

No regrets. The rear I need to clearance for 37/38s.

If you're going to go that large, you better get new axles and universals! Along with regearing if haven't done so yet.
When I added the front and rear ARB lockers, I also regeared.
Even when I had my 285/75R17 BFG M/T's the engine RPM was still good at highway speeds and I was just clearing them in the fenders. When I went up to 315/70R17 BFG A/T's, is when I started to get a wee bit of rubbing and had to have an alignment to move my caster forward. I still get a wee bit of rubbing at lock-to-lock. But my

I have a Dana 60 rear axle and RCV CV Axles with Yukon 4.88 gears and front/rear ARB air lockers. I don't get any rubbing up front. It's the rear where I have issues. But I think that's due to axle location, lack of proper bump stops/limiters for the rear LT shocks.

Hit up Indian Valley Reservoir. One of my buddies Frank brought over his RCLT HD equipped GX470 for me to drool over.

My EBC Green Stuff rear brake pads wore out, so I replaced it with EBC Yellow Stuff. Per Mike at ORW, these pads would be better for my weight.

Removed stripped Allen bolts from my Engine Skid oil filter access panel and also lost a strut nut while driving. Luckily I heard it! Went to ACE and got a replacement nut.

Had a buddy machine an adapter to mount a Ram type of Ball to a Rugged Radio Bracket, so I can have easy access to my Business Rugged Radio.

Installed the most baller Wind Shield Washer Fluid Reservoir; a Snowboundcustoms Bare Aluminum 4L. This relocates the reservoir from the passenger front wheel well to just behind the passenger side of the front grill.
