I have had more than one. Built a bad ass prerunner fully caged.
Those were the days.
I never had a Basher but always thought they were neat. The prerunner had a one piece front end and a bus tranny.

Oh yeah, if anyone wants reasonably priced LED off-road lights that work with 24V, the Hella Value Fit series are very good!! I have the 7” driving beams on.

Hella makes lots of other LEDs compatible with 24v, as well as 24V H3’s.

Guy local to me might have a spare windscreen that i might pick up, after reading this:

70 series windshield

56111-60230 should be the correct PN for a windscreen? Laminate too? @Onur do you agree?

Started tearing apart the shifter console stuff to clean it out, found some NZ coins under it!

Anybody know what the "Shift Lock Control" actually does (the big black thing)? Can it be removed?

Successfully mated a FJ62 shifter base and etc. to the floor of the HZJ73 to make room for the future AA twin stick setup (and ditch the push buttons)

Guess I mixed up my tracking numbers and my roof rack hasn’t even shipped yet 😡.

on the plus side, my Cruiser Outfitters add a leafs come tomorrow 😆

Hello,

Dumb question.

Could you please elaborate on the AA twin stick?

Juan

OMG i'm never dealing with OK4WD ever again. I order an ARB roof rack, get some email saying it drop shipped the next day, then nothing for nine days. Email twice, no answer. Call, told i'd get a callback, never do. Call again, then get told that the rack isn't even offered in the US and they have no idea if it'll ever be available. MAYBE TAKE THE DAMN THING OFF OF YOUR WEBSITE AND LET ME KNOW THAT I ORDERED SOMETHING THAT DOESN'T EXIST.

at least they promptly refunded me. Never again OK4WD.

It eliminates the push-button/vacuum actuator for the transfer case shifting. allows independent selection of HI/LO or 2wd/4wd. I have too many problems with the stock system in the winter. it's going away

The above pic is a 60 series but you get the idea

Hello,

Thank you for the explanation. No switches, no vacuum, very reliable.

It reminds me of the Willys M29 set up.

Does it enable you to have L2, Low Range, 4x2?

Yeah, it will allow 2wd low range. I know lots of people don't have any issue with the stock setup, but it aggravates me.
