I ordered a new Ironman 4x4 roof rack today, since they are apparently having a sale and I can just drive over the mountains and pick it up from them :bounce:

My front add-a-leafs from @cruiseroutfit arrived today! Thanks Kurt!

My poor baja beetle is getting put on the back burner for a bit while I get a bunch done on the cruiser and my RTT trailer for camping season.

more ideas flowing thru my head with this thing....undoing some Overlander points and deleting the little RV access panel that I cut into the original back door panel. The space is completely full of central oregon moon dust, and i don't keep anything in it as a result.

had some thick treadplate that i started cutting up. 1/4-20 threadserts in the old holes. didn't get too far tonight...

Bought one of the BH3D/Odd Iron cupholders, since between me and the missus we've spilled about 4 coffees/energy drinks since taking the original console out....doh!

Had a small scare on the way back from the trip to the mine, started hearing grinding from the right front brake caliper whenever I pressed the brake pedal. Looked into it and discovered that one of the caliper mounting bolts was totally missing and the other was loose. Was able to get back to Prineville and buy a M12x1.25, 35mm long bolt at O'Reilly and install it on the side of the road. I got home and bought 4 40mm long 10.9's at the hardwar store with new lock washers and changed em all. the outside edge of the rotor is pretty scarred up though. Need to order new front rotors maybe.

Also revisited an idea I had for mounting a RAM ball for a phone/ipad holder. Made out of aluminum angle from Home Cheapo and some rivets. waiting on a new phone holder...

Mounted it behind a new radio bezel from Partsouq.

Kinda crude, but i'll maybe refine the idea after some use.

90* to the converter will be my Harrop and LED relays, and two 4-fuse blocks; one for 12v and one for 24v. To save load on the converter, I’ll run my Hella LED lighting off 24v, and my locker and Ham radio off the 12v converter. I’ll also use a heavy duty solenoid like owyhee’s troopy to trigger the converter so it won’t be drawing power with the cruise off. Maybe that’ll help the Pyle last a while.
