Repaired and installed the tool box. Then modified the oem seat mount to accommodate the new bucket seat. Test fit and we are good.

Thanks. The seats are ProCar 90's by Scat. I like them. Kind of like the later 40 buckets and affordable.

Got the passenger side all mounted up. It's sits alittle higher due to the gas tank. Not too bad though.

I think that's the last of the major metal work. Still need to final weld everything. Then grind down the welds. Then spray some primer. Good times.

There's a bunch. Worst part is limited space and needing to flip over the cab and bed when needed. I gotta build another body dollie to roll stuff around.

We all get into that situation for me it is no matter how big your shop is it is never enough, dollies will help.

Nope.....it's got a 327 Chevy. The V6 badge was part of the previous owners mods. Came with sweet custom license plate too.

Pretty much spent the weekend cleaning and playing with distraction 75 40. Removed most everything that wasn't original. Cleaned most the sand and dirt out. Reinstalled the roof. Used an early cap and it's held on with some clamps for now. I will try and fire it up this week. It came with a nice stash of new part too.

Removed the sweet V6 badge and replaced with worn out oem ones. Slapped on a front bumper to complete the look.

Back to the fake 45. Cut a hole for the reverse light. Installed the tailgate chains too.

Playing around with the 75. I found 2 357 hollow points, an old pop top and an extra key safety pinned under the hood.
I installed a battery, topped off the fluids and gave it a try. The starter spins but doesn't engage.

Hey Jack, What gauge sheet metal is your bed and what size and thickness of the square tube that makes up the frame? I love following your projects here.

The structure is a mix of 2" and 1 1/2" .120 wall. The bedsides are 18 gauge and the bed floor is 14 gauge.

No pop top chain here. I do remember those though. I also remember pop tops on my Dad's Olympia beer cans when I would steal a sip.
