I just ran the 10mm spacers on all corners because I had them. I spaced up in the front when I found a little bit of tire rub when flexed and turned. No problems since then.
I bought the vehicle originally with OEM springs. I then replaced with the OME stock height springs (dual rate) with spacers. They were good on the road and unloaded, but was not happy with them while loaded. I was on 33s at the time. Of course I went to my first Cruise Moab a few years ago and decided I "needed" bigger tires and more lift. That's when i did the research and settled on the Slinky's or Tapered Dobs. Nothing against the old linear OME springs of yore, but there are new designs...so why not try it!
I have absolutely zero complaints about the ride quality. They not harsh for daily driving (which the wife does mostly...with zero complaints) and found them to be much more controlled at high speed on washboard/dirt roads. This comparison with the DObs and OMEs were with the same shocks, so that is not a factor.
