I wonder if metal tech has folks not understanding that bare metal rusts...

Extra work? The guy who chips your powder coat and has corrosion is far more likely to bug you down the line than the guy who asks for it raw to coat himself.

Ok I'm going to put a stop to this right now:

We will not be offering these uncoated. What we NEED to do is offer the best possible product we can to the market place. I am not going to have people not painting/coating something and then coming back to me (or the internet in general) complaining about how our product didn't last.

I am not saying that is what you guys who are requesting this would do, but it just sets a precedent that creates huge amounts of work down the line.

You are more than welcome to paint over the powdercoat. It works GREAT as a nice, strong base layer.

You said selling them raw is going to make huge amounts of extra work down the line....

late to the party, but this is absolutely true in my real job. (my bend shop for the Toyota stuff is a cut above, thankfully)

Here are some almost finished pics. Can see the shifter console mounted with both the stock center console and our center console. After getting all these aluminum parts mounted up, starting to think they'd look A LOT better in black anodizing. We have pretty easy access to that here so considering it.

Don't think any pictures of this accessory have made it out yet, but aluminum bracket for mounting either the the laptop style or ipad style RAM do-hickey:

Just as I was about to use rivnuts to mount my Jotto desk arm to the transmission tunnel for my iPad after I mount my new console.... hhhhmmmmmm.......

@Delta VS the center console looks awesome installed. Really like the height over the OEM console. Have you figured out how you are going to cover the top? Any pics?

So is the shifter console available separately and does it have a hole in the front like the factory piece? I already have a tuffy console but it leaves the hole in the stock shifter setup exposed and I haven't figured out a good way to cover it yet. This look like a really nice setup.
