This is good to know.

Do you know how tall your 80 is with the rack? I've got Flexi 3" right now, and barely fit in the garage. My goal is to fit in the garage with my 35s AND a rack so I'm looking at going down to the 222/223 combo.

Currenly on the flexi suspension when I put my camp gear in the rear it will squat about an inch or so. But unloaded it sits at 4"+ of lift in the rear which is pretty frustrating. When I load it full of camp gear and three people then its either level or even slightly squatting in the rear.

I don't really care if it squats, but I'd like it to bring me down 1.5-2" ideally. To make it easier for my wife and son to get in and also to add more clearance in the garage.

I am 82" roughly to the top of my rhino rack pioneer platform (with the RL mounts). my garage height is 82.01", this is how close it is. but it slips in just fine.

Just ordered a set of 222/223 with the adjustable MRA shocks and f/r panhards. My suspension sounds like it is going to fall apart, so this is long overdue. Currently stock weight, but plan is for a hidden winch and bolt on tire carrier.

@crikeymike thanks for all your help!

I see many of you are running 315s on OEM wheels with this setup, but how many of you also running the adjustable MRAs? Any rubbing or interference on the resivour up front with full stuff? From the photos I've found it looks like it will probably clear, but curious to hear first hand experience.

Trying to keep the OEM look and keep the wheels, but deep down I also want aftermarket wheels with more negative offset 😂

Any information is appreciated. Hopefully find time to install this kit after the holidays.

Another data point: I installed the 222 in front and 223 in rear of my 1997 LC with plan to add an ARB winch bumper and Comeup 9.5. No big bumper or drawers in the back, but probably Slee step sliders in the future.
Before:
LF 20.125 RF 19.875
LR 20.375 RR 21
(Full tank 3rd row removed)

After: LF 22.375 RF 22.625
LR 22.625 RR 23.25
Net lift initially:
LF 2.25 RF 2.5
LR 2 RR 2.25

Now I’ve got three Land Cruisers with a DS lean!! 😂😂😂

Since installing the lift, I added the ARB winch bumper, Comeup winch and Slee step sliders. With all those additions, I ended up with a 30mm spacer in the driver rear position and 20mm spacers up front to get a nice level stance. I was very happy with the ride and the look. Of course, I have subsequently pulled out the 1FZ and swapped in an aluminum LT 5.3L V8 and now the front is a little high. I'll start by removing the spacers in front and go from there. Probably end up with 10mm spacers in the front to get back to perfect.

222/223. Stock 80, bolt on tire carrier in the back. Before and after measurements taken with about 50-75lbs of stuff in the cargo area, and the tire carrier.

Before:
FL 19.5. FR 19.5
RL 19.75 RR 20.0

After
FL 22.25 FR 22.5
RL 21.5. RR 22.5

Rear left (driver side) is sagging an inch, which is common from what I've read.

@crikeymike and everyone else.... is adding a 1" spring spacer the best solution to this problem?

Very happy with this setup and glad i had this thread for some references. sitting at 22" center hub to fender on all four with all the gear. and still fit in the garage!

I went with 222V / 223V combo with the adjustable poly radius arm bushings set at 2.5 deg, truck drives great.

Who makes that rear bumper?

No, that's not normal. The rear coil marked R or Right is taller by 10mm and here in the USA that quite often has to be put on the Left side. Check which way they were installed.

I always tell everyone to put the new taller coil where the old taller coil was, so that they get in the correct position.

Mine was same. Added spacer. Maybe drive it for a day or two to see if it settles and confirm spacer height. ..And give yer back a break before getting in there again!

Thanks, I'll have a spacer available when I swap the coils..just in case that doesn't solve the problem. It's been over a week now so hopefully will get to it next weekend.

Great. And what @crikeymike said as a general rule, always put taller spring on drivers (left) side.
