- Gov locks have lots of spinning parts. Not so great when you grab traction suddenly with wheel spin. Just keep in mind that you'll need a stock carrier. 14 bolt Detroit's ate a quasi lunch box locker design. They are pretty strong tho.

Exactly what I've heard too. You put a Detroit in yours and shaved it too right? I'm going to go dig through your thread.
I don't have a locker in the rear yet. I wanted to go with a selectable because of all the road driving I do but other projects have taken the funds. I only have the locker in the front right now.
