Did it come with a complementary pair of UGGs in the cargo area? Can you even...?

Unfortunately it did not, but it did come with Husky floor mats for the first and second row, well...minus the drivers side one. Grrrr

The Lexus rear cargo mat is pretty nice though, and I do think I see the location for the complementary UGG box formed into the matt. I will look at the lexus site for additional info.

BTW, there is no Lexus logo on the back aside from the text. I like the confusion :)

Dan owes me a beer for his incorrect statement about my truck. Take a look at the pic I posted on pg1. I like Rush River Amber in case you were curious!

The Prado without a spare tire on the back have what appears to be the same rear hatch with a Toyota emblem.

You can order a prado hatch and get the toyota emblem! They fit!

You come up with the most complicated solutions Dan. I think hanging out with you would cost a fella a lot of coin. ;)

Maybe I swap the badges from the wifes sienna. That way she gets a lexus too.

Search for GXOR and join the lexus group...find group buy. Say which you want.

Requested to join the group, waiting on the hdic to accept my request. Cool stuff. thx

I have partially de-badged mine, wouldn't have it any other way....but I'm just a chick, what do I know. My emblems came from Japan.

^Looking good Really liking the sport additions vs non-sport. I am surprised by how cheap the OEM sport tails are from Toyota. Now just to find the right paint to mimic the oem lenses. hmmm

I will be honest though, if all Lexus' are similar in quality and feel to mine.....I can see why people really like them.

So I was able to dig up the PO's phone number via Lexus service records, and contacted her yesterday. I bought the vehicle at a dealership, and they obviously have very little knowledge of the previous owners experiences/thoughts about the vehicle, or they would just say whatever sounds right to make the customer happy. So I thought I would take it upon myself to do a little research of my own, on top of the pages of service records I have from Lexus.

I got the feeling right off the bat she maybe didn't like me calling, even though I was very open about who I was and why I was calling. I didn't get very much info from her, and she def didn't elaborate on any of her answers. She was nice enough, but it was a very brief convo. My suspicion was correct, and I got a call about an hour later from the dealership stating the customer would no longer like to be contacted. {Insert what a bitch/dick comment here}.

Anywho, the only things I have done to date is a really good wash, partial inside detail, slapped some 303 Aero Protection on tires, dash, plastic. The leather is in really really good condition, and I will keep an eye on the ds bolsters to make sure they stay well hydrated.

When I first brought the GX home I noted that the back cargo area appeared to have a fair amount of moisture on the carpet/seat mounts area. I chalked it up to the goofball doing the carpet cleaning not letting it dry/being sloppy. But after digging further I found the ds rear was pretty wet. So I pulled off the trim panels, suspended the carpet/insulation by bungee cords from the ceiling, and put a fan on it for a while. I also pulled the weather stripping along the bottom of the hatch and cleaned that up as good as I could.

There wasn't much sign of it happening for a long period, so I am hoping the rear window was left open, or there was a spill. I will have to test the sunroof drains to ensure they are not plugged. But for now I just sprayed a mixture of Vinager/baking soda all over the area to help fend off the stank. I hope this was a one time deal.

Dude when I bought ours (for the wife) I also bought one of those welder-mask visors the asian ladies here in california use whenever they go outside to ward off the evil sun and left it on the dash. She about died when she saw that. Yeah, I drive THAT truck. Douche factor is high, as ours is stock. And it's a weird thing driving the goofiest-looking Lexus ever (well, except for perhaps that two-door convertible suppository-shaped thing they made for years), but knowing you're driving a quiet, heavy, comfortable, powerful and ultimately capable midsized SUV. My only regret is not buying a LandCruiser - but those were $20-$25k more and well, we average 18.5mpg in the GX. No LX has *ever* touched that...
