The next color is up. It’s a little too patriotic for my purposes. The blue is actually darker in person. But the red will be repainted a different color.

I debated on showing this now or waiting for it to be completed. But there seems to be some angst over why the two walls are painted black. Maybe this picture will help.

Thanks Al it will be a slat wall. There are a multitude of options this brings into play now.
Excellent idea Michael…. Back in the mid 1980’s we had a retail store and used slatwall on the entire interior perimeter…..paid $68.00 a sheet then!! I can only imagine what they charge for it today. Making your own is genius. When I was moving into the new polebarn, I found a box of 50 or so chrome 4” shelf brackets. Had 100 or so pieces of glass 4’ long and 4” wide shelves… no one wanted the glass so I tossed it 25 years ago. What a shame, yet…I saved the brackets thinking I would use them eventually.
ADDED: head over to Bed Bath and Beyond…they’ll be closing all the store and selling fixtures…you may score a deal on something
