I would imagine it should.
Funny thing about running larger tires with an uncalibrated speedo, I'm actually logging less miles than I'm traveling. So the 60k+ miles I've logged on my odometer since having my rig, is less than what I've actually traveled.

My GX is regeared with 4:56 and my speedo is still off by about 10%.
Usually a regear will fix a speedo, but not on our rigs. Unless my tire size caused my speedo to be so far off that a regear brought it closer to actual at only 10%.
I never had a chance to drive it with just large tires without the regear.

Same here. I'm also regeared to 4.56 running 35's. On paper I thought I should be 2% off, but going off waze, I am 14% off.

Side note, I have always used a Scangauge II. You can enter speedometer adjustments to display the correct speed, along with monitoring coolant temps, transmission temps, and tire pressures.

Can Scangauge read tire pressures? I'm not referring to the idiot light coming on only when a tire is low (and guessing which tire??), but can it read TPMS pressures from all 5 tires?

Me too! Been debating those cheap Amazon dealios that go on the valves and send a signal to an external display one can mount on the dash. I like seeing the exact psi, going to test this on my DD first.

If there was a Japanese, Scandinavian or US manufactured solution like that I’d be all in. I don’t like the idea of leaving a dongle in the ODBII port.

Yes! It needs to be manually programmed which takes about 5min.

It looks really great but checking it out at CL, it looks like it'll only display on our info screen if you have GROM installed. Otherwise I believe it'll just be shown on your phone. Which is fine, except that we listen to music quite often off my phone and I don't believe I can be streaming two Bluetooth devices at the same time.
If I was able to display that on my info screen or phone while playing music, I'd order it right now.

Multiple Bluethooth connections shouldn't be a problem.

Typical scenario of my iPhone in my 460

- Share Wifi to other devices in vehicle
- Bluetooth connection to OBD Link
- Bluetooth connection to 460 stereo for local phone music or Pandora music streaming

Music streaming fine with OBD Link on screen I am visually monitoring

All the while a portable code reading Techstream level device... nothing extra to carry onboard... no special codes for gauges... no special formulas for something as simple as a AT temp gauge

This is a pretty slick setup.

If there was a Japanese, Scandinavian or US manufactured solution like that I’d be all in. I don’t like the idea of leaving a dongle in the ODBII port.

I haven't had any issues keeping a reader hooked up to the obd port. It's turned on and off with the ign.

So you get tire pressure and temperature readout for each individual tire with this gizmo?

Yep.. psi and temp.. I'm not sure many vehicles (with built in data) display the temp data from TPMS sensors..

You will have to figure out what tire is which with dropping and raising PSI... you can then label as needed.

The OBD Link adapter is smart and will power off shortly after ignition off.

Interesting. I am getting tires on Saturday and regear on Tuesday so I will be able to see how this affects speedo reading. Definitely want to know before installing the Hypertech unit, as I only want to take apart the dash once.

Also will it work in a 470? I already have TorquePro and a BAFX OBDII adapter and read lots of stuff, but it would be nice to also read tire pressure.

Yep, I can confirm no change in speedometer reading after regear. I too am indicating 10% low with 35x11.5x17 tires.
