Hypertech Speedometer Calibrator

If you go through their website engine, Hypertech indicates #730135 speedometer calibrator will work for a 2018 GX460... but I can't find any evidence online of any GX460 using it, which surprises me. In fact, there are a couple of suggestions that it won't work. Can anyone report definitively if it works or not?
Wonder if anyone on this forum that's in area wants to drop on by their shop and see if they can do a quick plug-n-play demo on their own GX?
Anyone on here that lives near Memphis, TN with over sized tires???

Can't hurt, but I have an email from May 2025 from Hypertech tech support that says "We don’t have anything that will work with your application" (2018 GX), even though their website continued to list the GX460 as an application.

From my previous research (on another thread, maybe this one?) looking at GX460 FSMs, the 460 speedometer appears to work the same as a GX470. The VSS input comes in the back of the instrument cluster, shows up on the speedo, and this distributed to other sensors/readouts. Presumably the Hypertech/Lutz calibrators work the same as the Speedohealer universal corrector I spliced into my 470....they intercept the VSS before get gets to the speedometer and modify it based on a user-provided increase/decrease.

I think what makes these sensors complicated is making them plug-and-play, since you need to reverse-engineer male and female connectors between the harness and the back of the speedometer, and then have a bunch of short wire pieces to connect them. They are large connectors with lots of wires. Honestly it's a bit easier just to snip the VSS wire and divert it with two connectors with a universal setup like a Speedohealer, but I can see how most people would be uncomfortable splicing into their OEM harness.

This alternative company vendor just posted in this thread appears to support 2010-2019 460s

I assume it also recalibrates the MPG too on the center binnacle?

From the FSM I looked at, it appeared that it would. But I have not done or tried that yet and can make no guarantees. In my GX470, it did re-calibrate everything (speedo, trip computer, MPG meter).

I installed the speedometer calibrator from Lutz Auto today, and all I can say is... it works!

My speedo was off by 10% (low) with 35s on the rig. It will be nice to not have to do the mental arithmetic every time I look at the speedo. Might save me from a speeding ticket too.

Hi, since there was no solution on this thread I wanted to plug our new GX460 speedometer calibrator.

Any chance this works on a 2023 GX? I have emailed your website email a couple of times but no response.
Thanks!
