Hopefully the islands drain some strength over the next few days.

Stay safe, Jim. Glad I'm not in Walker's this week chasing spiny tails!!

Go east and fizzle out (but spare Bermuda)!!

Yeah that is right over my house.

Just delivered this bad boy from out of the path of Irene down to Key West. 2009 74' Viking Sky Bridge Sportfish. Cruised at 32 knots. :steer: Big Corvette on the water that you can fish from. Going back to get her again Friday. Nicest boat I ever had the pleasure to drive, by far....

Some eye candy for all of us fishermen out there:

Wow - just wow... I so wish I didn't get sea sick...

Well the forecast doesn't look good. Now they have it moving further inland. Look like from NC up it's going to be really nasty. I hear this cold front coming in from the north is going to collide with this and produce a storm that no one has ever seen the likes of. Should be interesting watching this play out. Hope everyone east bunkers down. Not going to be a good weekend for them.

Jim that is a sweet boat. Amazing. Id love to see a pic of the engine room.

nice boat!!!

Jim do you transport boats for a living....if so....you got any contacts for parts boats from storm damage?

I'll be needing some more parts for my sailboat here pretty soon!

Hope the house I rented for Thanksgiving on the OB is still there next week

From the looks of those maps above we may have another coming right behind her.

I transport as often as I can, which isn't too often lately.

I have some sailboat hardware stored in my shop that belong to another captain. What are you looking for? The storm-damaged boats were available back in '92 (Andrew) and '04-'05 (Frances, Jeanne and Wilma). Nothing lately. There are some winch handles, blocks and shackles in my friend's box.

On a sad note, the wife and I walked the beach today. Dozens of damaged sea turtle eggs everywhere. Seas and tides were both abnormally high....

Troll, engine room pic will be posted after saturday if I don't forget my camera tomorrow.

Lol. Yeah felt sorry for you guys.

Looks like TD 12 is going to be a hurricane in the next 48 hrs. Coming this way. Just in time for the annual.

we need rain really badly.

Well you may get your wish........ looks like we are going from drought to flood; this storm has the potential to drop 1-2 FEET of rain from the LA to the Southern Apps

Here is NOAAs 5day rainfall total; note NOAA usually errs on the conservative side and this map only goes out until Wed. it will likely still be raining into Thursday pushing the totals even higher :o
