I drive my 1967 FJ40 several times a week around town and out on the trails whenever I get a chance.

Yes, the stupid-long rear shackles were a gift from a previous owner. And yes, there are plans to do something about it soon, just like the seemingly hundreds of other P.O. "modifications" that have already been redone.
 
#255 Not really a DD, I have a work truck for that role.
 
#256 - 1/2 DD (when it's not under the wrench), part-time light trail riding - goal is to bring it up to fully trail-capable, but not hard-core off-road - an ongoing labor of love ... Just today, took advantage of dry whether to clean off some underside rust & throw some paint on ....

'74 with '86 2F, 4" lift, recently rebuilt transfer case , front disc swap.....
