Lived in a $300 rusty VW ex-flower delivery bus for 3 months in the early '70s doing our "hippie tour" of Europe which started in Paris and took us from Oslo in the north to Salzburg in the south. Amazing variety of sausages available virtually everywhere in Germany. Wife's favorite was currywurst.

We went to Germany on our honeymoon. Had weisswurst one morning.
