Nice is right! A lot of work cut out for you, but you'll make it. Like Bob says, everything happens for a reason.

Good luck with the move, wish I was there helping out or just getting in the way. :)

This may be the wrong place to post this but I read this interesting article by Colin Comer in the Hagerty Magazine the other week. He talks about the FJ Value Proposition. Tried finding a link to the article but couldn’t locate one. So here are a few pics of the two page article. I think you might be encouraged by his comments on the FJ55. May be something we already know but it’s nice to know we aren’t totally crazy on swine flu.

Well , landlord kicked out my business in january ,said his building insurance would no longer cover auto repair . so i called in a favor and found a building in the good part of town that he would rent to me ,for the next 10 years , buy then i should be gone . we started moving equipment in march ,and got open on the first of april ,it is no small undertaking to move a functioning auto repair shop .I had always been told god protects dam fools and idiots like me . so due to the virus i have lost little business , and as a essential business . i am allowed to remain open here . Family is all well just stuck home . we live way out of town and were already isolated by choice . I hope to actually use down time to catch up on 55 stuff that i have neglected . now that the bizz is moved and open .

Congrats on the new shop, Evan. Must’ve been a hell of a lot of work to get moved, but the new place looks bigger and better.
Looking forward to seeing some of your pig projects!

next one better be mine , i now have 150k on my neglected timing belt , and still have not replaced the welder/alternator from pp19 . i have a large pile of parts that needs to be done , and zero time to work on my own rig .

Similar, son & daughter look at us like we are aliens when we remind them there is more to life...I too feel bad for my wife, she has been shopping for us, both parents and our elderly neighbors - then she gets to put up with all of us home 24/7, tough change from having the house to herself most days.

Yeah, my wife has a rough deal. I mean, she’s married to me first of all.
Now she runs screaming when I queue up the Barry White! Oh yeah...

A great part about not having to go into the corp-o-rat office is the new dress code.

At first I was thinking I would wear a different Pig shirt every day. Then I thought about laundry, so now the dress code is a different Pig shirt every week...

Honestly we are doing better than I expected, probably 90% of our crew is working, I’m not working from home as much as I was hoping to be as most of my partners are in the office every day.

All good here in Phoenix. However I was deeply disappointed to watch these damn looters in our community this weekend. We’ve been slowly RE-opening business with safety measures in place and I’ve been happy to see a big increase in my real estate practice. But this looting and the murder of George Floyd is just terrible.
