After you remove the adaptor, make sure the blue bushing is seated in the tower. H55F should have come with it but it might have been removed for the adaptor.

And the white nylon bushing on the tip of the shifter should be moved back onto the original OEM. It is necessary.

BOOM. Got it done. It's definitely pitched for left side drive. But I seriously doubt I'll find a right side drive h55f shifter any time soon. I've spent HOURS hunting online and zero luck. This works fine. Thanks everyone for the help!

Rhd shifters can be had from amayama.cim for $60 or so. Find part number, submit. Shoot for a "1995" hzj75 for the cheapest version not a j60 series.

$95.64 in UAE, more in jpn.

I cannot believe Justin at Amayama got back to you with availability over the weekend.

there are 6 used on ebay.com.au "75 stick landcruiser"

your google-fu sucks
Yeah, it's wasn't over the weekend. It was late last week. Nothing compatible available according to what they sent me. The LHD shifter actually works just fine. Hell, anything is better than a pair of vice grips, which is what I've been using for a month.
