@jfz80 utilizing the NorCal way....

We put the NorCal twist on lunch yesterday on a "quick" day run through the woods in Arkansas. (More on that in another thread.)

First up - olives and hummus appetizer. The PETT dual purposes as a serving table.

Note the various activities taking place on the monster three burner.

The main course was grilled tri-cheese on sourdough. Smoked Gouda, muenster, and sharp cheddar, melted together in cheesy harmony.

But wait, there's more! This sandwich comes with tomato soup for dipping!

Dessert was sliced & sugared strawberries, followed with a cup of HEL 1 coffee.

It was a Bullseye!

There was a tragic accident yesterday at the Three 6 Carport Patio Bar & Grill...

The session started off like any other - beers were opened, a fire started, and burgers applied to the grill.

Things were going great, and the burgers were soon flipped and cheesed.

When the extraction team came in to retrieve the burgers, disaster struck. Multiple high gravity beers, sloppy spatulamanship, and low ambient light levels were all blamed as the cause of the accident but, regardless, not all of the burgers that went in made it back out. One got left behind.

Details are sketchy, but according to the report, one burger slipped off the spatula, flipped 90 degrees, and fell into the abyss between the firebox and the outer ceramic body, never to be seen again.

After much soul searching, a decision was made - no one would be going back into the fire for this burger. The risks were too great.

I revisited the scene today to get some closure and retrieve the dead soldier, but other than the cheesy streak it left as it slid down the wall to its fiery death, there were no signs of any remains.

Our farmer's market rocks for seafood and the veggies are half of what the big boxes charge.

Griddled the tuna on toasted sesame oil and dressed with ginger soy. Sweet potatoes roasted with salt and cayenne.

Finally made the jump to a fancy ceramic grill. I had to do it mechanic style though...

I swear Snap-On will put there name one anything. I don't have a clue who actually makes it for them but it appears to be high quality. Starting with burgers tonight then chicken quarters tomorrow.
