I've only done thick butterfly chops on the egg but they always turn out great. How long did you cook the thin ones?
 
MFing bird was on point.

No brine. 3/4 bottle of cajun butter injection. Rosemary and Rudy's turkey rub.

4 hours at 300* with my new BBQ toy Red got me for anniversary.

Perfect.

Ive been on a stuffed pepper roll for a few years stuffing anything into every kind of pepper but it took till now to try a breakfast pepper ...... ok so its really just a recycled dinner pepper with a baked egg twist for breakfast but now the egg fritatta pepper cup idea has me thinking :hmm:

Just about finished with this big green egg table. Still need to stain and seal, but all the woodwork is finished.

Sanded, stained, and sealed concrete and wood today. Also put a bead of clear high-temp RTV around perimeter of Egg to keep water from coming into table compartments. The project is now finished. Woohoo.

I'm now calibrating my new PID temperature controller. Gonna get this baby dialed in for a 15 hr brisket this weekend.

So I gotta ask - do yall go inside to put on an album after getting the charcoal started? Not knocking vinyl - both Mo & KA play records and I have a couple of B&Os that need bringing back to life - I just haven't wrapped my mind around the charcoal renaissance...
