Thanks you guys and yes, I will set up a web album. I want to do a video this week as well. That was mentioned to me as something to do.

Another pic.

Thanks HD and Dad2six. Appreciate the nice comments. Am very glad I stuck to stock. :steer:
Here is one more pic that I liked of the cargo area.

Who did your upholstery? If I sent a seat to them, could you give it a look over before they send it back? My driver's seat was just butchered by a really bad upholsterer called B & M Upholstery in Santa Fe.

Chamba getting front seat done.

Hello Chamba, Yes, I am sure G & M Custom Upholstery ( Rufino ) here in Temecula, California ( 951-296-5336 ) would do an excellent job on anything that you sent out to him and I certainly do not mind checking on the details for you. You should PM me with your plan and I can let them know and sort it so things don't get confused. As you can see in my 1962 front seat cushion he even did the original Burlap just like Toyota Factory. So, he is very good.

voyager:01,,,,,,,,,,,,,,lol. That was a funny comment. That is the same thing I say when I go out to the garage every few hours to stare at it. Now that it's done it's like looking at a 1962 brochure sitting in my garage. lol.

I am impressed by your dedication to detail. It's sad to hear you have to sell it, but I understand what it takes to get a cruiser looking that good! You have truly "restored" that cruiser!

Have you ever taken a picture of a heath grey 40 at that vineyard? Because this is the pic that convinced me to paint mine grey.....

Hello Ambrew,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Thanks for the nice comments. Yes, that is my Land Cruiser. Too bad my bezel is turned upside down in that picture. LOL. :(

Thanks you guys.

And the Bezel is on right-side-up :-) I guess even if Toyota had kept the Land Cruiser on the Bezel some folks would still put them on upside-down.

Thanks for the offer, I'll let you know what happens but I have to fix that seat.

Rear cargo mat

Ordered new Cargo Mat today from Cool Cruisers after MBradshaw mentioned he had good luck with that one. No moisture build up which can cause surface rust. Will cut to fit and install next week.

If that was in my possession, there's no way I'd willingly part with it Dave...

One of the earliest FJ40s in existence and in better-than-showroom condition right now in 2013!

Lovely...

And when there's a choice, I almost invariably prefer ex-factory/OEM to modified/aftermarket which is why this 62 so appeals.

These are your best shots of it so far I think:

But I've already stolen a few more than that from this thread for use in my screensaver folder.

Those shots of yours are kept in good company (complimented by) by other 40-series shots including this one:

Ha. ha.... Sorry... Just my sense of humour.... It's certainly a contrast but I bet you share my interest in this shot too.

I was able to get a nice close up ( COLOR ) video of the Engine Bay.

LOSTMARBLES- Thanks for the really nice comments. Everyone has no idea how much I appreciate them, especially coming from you guys.
LOSTMARBLES, that pic of the cruiserhead is priceless. That is what I call a " really " soft top. Love that diving board on the front and those racing tires also. Just goes to show, these Land Cruisers will literally last forever if properly maintained. lol :)
