Too short. Too long. Just right: the 43
Old red, you mustn't have looked too hard. Barrett Jackson Palm Beach on April 4-6 sold a very nice 2+ (though no where near as nice as fjfjfj's, which I would rate a 1 or 1-from the pics) '69 for $39,600 and they listed their average selling price as $28,000.
As you know, high auction prices depend on at least two cashed-up blokes with strong desire, but cruisers are hot right now-especially clean, low mile, original ones with provenance. Having this back story, the original Colorado plates and pics throughout the resto - including detailed shots from before tear down...I'm not going to venture a dollar guess, but I think it has fantastic potential, I'll just say that.
In my opinion, Phoenix Barrett Jackson is the market for this to get a number of folks keen on it. I hate to see you sell it too, but having said that, I want to see you get top dollar for her.
As far as appreciation for older Cruisers, I think this recent '69 shows they can bring the big quid. A'64 is that much more unique, do we shall see.
