Can't believe I haven't seen this earlier! Absolutely gorgeous!

I have amber lenses for the bib lights if you're interested. Actually I have two complete assemblies - bezels, housings, and lenses - all OEM.

Another Picture / Hood

Shot of the Hood and Ornament. Also a pic of the cruiser when it arrived from Colorado last September. Another before and after. FJFJFJ

Hello JohnnyC,,,,,,Won't be able to trade. In fact, will be selling it since I need the funds for some other projects. It is sad as it is turning out to be a very cool Land Cruiser and wish I could afford to keep it. Thanks. FJFJFJ

Selling it? Oh man, I'm crushed. I only wish I could afford her as I'd get her back to Colorado where she belongs quick-smart.

I just made that front pic one of my screen saver photos. Now I keep waiting for my computer to hibernate so I can see it....

And I don't even like white Cruisers.

One of the best thread finds I have come across. I sold my 40 a couple of years ago and infrequently check this section so I haven't seen this thread.

That is a beautiful rig and one of the coolest I have seen on this site.

Thanks UltraFJ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, for the nice comments. Sounds like you should buy another 40. lol. I am really glad mine is almost done. I am down to details now and will post all the pics when I am finished. CHAMBA,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I had to laugh that you never even liked white cruisers. As it turns out though this Lily White code from back in 1962 is just a wonderful color. In real life it does not look super white, but off white, almost ivory looking. The combination of colors that Toyota used on this one ( Lily White, Coral Seats, Black, Chrome, Yellow Jack handles and off white roof and bezel with Spanish Maroon bezel lettering ) really have made for a beautiful end result. Certainly glad I went with the original Toyota color. Thanks you guys,,,,,,,,,,,,,FJFJFJ

I lived in Australia for way too long: white cars are ubiquitous there. White Cruisers almost invariably mean ex-government rig and to be avoided. I love the colour combos of that era however - how about this '58 Edsel Bermuda for sexy? A bit Edvard Munch for some, but I just love it.

Oh man, do I wish it was mine. No, but I drool on the photo with great frequency.

Wow! I don't have a lot of time to get on MUD anymore but I just read this whole thread non-stop! Beautiful rig. Got a couple of questions concerning the wiring harness. I'm sure, like the rest of the truck, that it was in good shape? From a few pics it appears that it was cleaned and possibly re-taped? Can you give some more details about that?

Hello Coolerman,,,,,,,,,I spoke with you last year about perhaps getting a new harness done for the restoration but as you mentioned it ended up that my harness was in wonderful condition so your right, we just cleaned it up, re-taped it and put it back in. My mechanic had to rewire some stuff ( lights, blinkers ) but the bulk of that harness was in near perfect condition. The cruiser only had 44k original miles on it and it sat in the barn for 47 years, out of the weather, dry and intact and never driven during that time so,,,,,,,,,,,I got lucky. Thanks for the comments and great work that you do. Glad your company is available for assist to all of us. FJFJFJ

A few more pics

Just gotta put in the front door glass, seats, back bumperettes, Tire carrier, hubcaps, restored steering wheel, touch up some more details and then,,,,,,,,,,,,,do a bunch more details and then,,,,,,,,,,,,more details. lol.

Man, when that thing hits Barrett Jackson, watch out. This rig could pull a record for a cruiser.
