I was going to take off all my wheels today and re-plasti-dip them.

Wife says "just buy new ones!"

Me: "whaaaaaa??? Ok!"

So if anyone has recommendations on wheels that look good, will work with my existing spidertraxx spacers and current tires (285/65/18) I'm all ears!

Prefer a mostly black wheel or gun metal gray, nothing too blingy.

Where my wheel experts at?!

I'm leaning that way, thanks!

Cool wife, but why? Your wheels look good. Save your money for something functional.

sweet deal man, I would def jump on that! I'd roll these methods, they are 25mm offset though so you'd have to lose the spacers, but they would look sweet!

I like them-love the matte black. Might just do that-thanks!

Thank you-method racing seems to stock a lot of wheels that match the look I'm going for.

The place that powder coated them is off of Jordan Rd just south of Arapahoe Rd

4wheelparts ran something like a 15% discount last June (Father's Day) on those NVs, I missed my chance back then but I am keeping an eye out for the next sale. List is something like $239 but going for just north of $200 IIRC.

not my pic but methods with 35's on a 200, looks F'in awesome! I would black out the gold bolts on the ring but other than that, damn these wheels are sweet!!!

Aww- a perfect time to do the RW. 17s skinnies are the way to roll. But 18s are ok for the mall...ha. You know I'm joking.

BTW- any wife who just did that is a long term keeper!

Those are sick. I'm thinking that's the general direction I want to go. I love the other OEM Toyota wheels people are putting on, but I'm thinking I want a slightly different look than RW or OEM Tundra or TRD.

Thanks all for the suggestions!

If I ever went back to 18s I would get these in a heartbeat. Lightweight and hub centric not to be confused with lug centric. Will be releasing in that size soon so just hold out for these. Anyone interested in my RW, 34" KO2 and spidertrax....

Dude I love the wheels you have on your rig, I would leave them alone and just freshen them up. Instead of new wheels get some staun beadlocks to put in the tires and make your truck more functional.

I think your wheels look really good. I like oem. Why not try some more exotic plasti dip? That may get you what you're looking for. I agree with not buying new ones.

I've seen this type here and there. It is rather upgraded plasti dip. True Metallic.

Thanks-I think one of the aspects of getting new wheels is that my wife doesn't want me spending a half day taking the current ones off, pulling the plasti-dip, prepping and then doing multiple coats.

Fine by me! That's not my idea of a fun Saturday either--I could spend that time wheelin! Besides, I already spend enough time undoing the dirt and damage wrought by my off-roaring habit. One less thing to worry about.

So I'm definitely going to make the switch. The OEM have served me well. Time for something I can use my pressure washer on.
