Just checked the FB link and it says no good. I'm really frustrated. I didn't know about the "bad sellers" thing and a week after ordering and paying for heater kits and not getting a shipment date or email response I simply typed in "any problems with metrictlc" and find out there are a LOT of problems. I would not have ordered from this person had I known they were so disreputable.

Sorry to hear this. yea he is a dead beat. owes me a ton of money and stole my parts I sent as a pattern also.
Such a GD shame, he had some of the nicest leather kits around, I bought one back in 2011, heck he even fronted me $500 and sent the 1st and second row out while only having $550 of my money!
A year went by and I had moved and somehow lost all 4 arm rests, shot him an email asking how much it would cost to ship 4 out, no answer but a week later they just showed up, no bill or anything. I hate to see crap like this happen without any explanation, if he's suffered some physical setback or anything it would be nice to know. He knows well enough that ALL HE HAS TO DO to make good is MAN UP and apologize, make everyone that he shafted whole again, and we as a community would find a place in ourselves to forgive and forget. Honestly I don't know ANY OTHER FORUM OR GROUP besides MUD where this would be possible.
The caliber of people that are a part of IH8MUD is unmatched and I believe some of the best people in the world, there is no doubt in my mind that he could comeback from the darkside, IF HE WANTED TO, and most of us here would be OK with that.
All I know is the longer he waits to do this the less likely he'll be re-accepted into the community.

I sent a polite message to Metrictlc as well as PayPal last evening. I indicated to PayPal what I had found when searching for problems with metrictlc in my message. This morning I had an answer from both PayPal as well as Jennifer (who shows up as the recipient of the payment) wherein she stated it had been shipped and provided a tracking number. My state of the art internet service went into no work mode and I headed outside to work on the two Cruisers. So I just logged on and my daughter tells me she received a package from them. I told her I ordered a kit for the heater and one for the blower and for her to please check and make sure that is what I got. If so, and all is good, I will provide that information here as well as to PayPal and to Jennifer as I don't want to spread any rumor if they did exactly what they were supposed to do.
Sorry for the delay. My daughter advises that she does not usually access internet on the weekend and yesterday was Columbus Day and so it is just this morning she sent me a picture showing the two kits for the heater. So be advised that in my case Metrictlc delivered the product fast.
I got word from the Oregon AG's office that you guys haven't contacted them. I know I gave contact info to those that requested it. Please contact them with your story. Don't let this jackass rip off anybody else.
They (LabRak) owe us over $3300 now for 6 months. No product. No updates. Nothing. They have also kept money from a few other folks for months and have not given them anything as well. They have deleted all of the customers comments and now shut down their IG page. We will never recommend them. This is not the only time this has happened. We are taking them to court. He wanted this and asked for it. We are very forgiving but he does not give a sh-t!

I gave the contact info to a few other people and the AG's office told me that nobody else contacted them about this fraud. Unless you report him, more people will continue to get ripped off. All you have to do is send an email. If everybody contacted hem that said they would, CVT would probably still have his money.
For some reason when I contacted the lady she sent me to small claims court info. Ideas?
People are also now dropping labrak(ambassadors, customers) left and right. Going back through paypal etc...We now are also doing small claims.
Update: Since our last writing on here Shane sold our tent and awning on his LC. Which was not his to do as it was for photos not to sell and not paying us again for something.
Wow! That's s***ty. Did you have a contract or emails to prove those items were on loan for promotion only? If so, he could be prosecuted for selling stolen property.

Get a rope!! I hope you file both criminal and civil complaints and are able to put him in jail AFTER you recoup what he owes you!!
My paypal resolution case just became final. I won and have been credited my hundreds of dollars back. Shane is a F-ing dirtbag. I hope he never can do business again with fine folks like the Mud community. I got in this mess at one of his "other" websits, LabRak. curious as to how paypal will pursue him for all the money he owes them...
