I think bud built is the way to go. I was thinking of making the trip to CBI and seeing if they are able to fab one up. The problem is the distance and time.
I almost want to buy the bud built one and modify it myself I just don't know what it will require. I wish I had some pics of how others had theirs done...

Imma gonna try BudBuilt again - I'll likely be in their neighborhood again this coming weekend.........

I would gladly sell my warped ASFIR aluminum skids for a set of bud built steelies :p I might even straighten them beforehand lol

If I was closer I'd go buy a set of new steel ones to swap you for...

If you guys are interested in a hidden winch mount I'll build one for the gx specifically...
Iv built one in the past for a Silverado and it worked great ...

the only issue I see is maybe free spool and tow points .... not necessary. .. but if your not afraid to cut holes in your bumpers than we can work around it ....
@freddydt has already offered to come to BR for a weekend so we can use his to design and fit ... I can make them raw steal , powder coated, or even stainless if ya want ... ( the one on my Silverado was 3/16 stainless)
If yal wanna do a group deal on this its cheaper for me to make multiples rather than one at a time ...

In I'd like to know how much stainless would cost. I'd want a non powedercoated one either way.

As for free spooling, I'm planning on using a the warn 10s platinum so it will be a wireless control so no need to free spool for me. I'd like two tow/shackle anchors too

Also if it would be cheaper a d easier I could weld it up myself if I got all the parts cutout (if I chose not to go stainless)

Here is some pics of the budbuilt one. Seems like you could just copy this one as much as possible?
I'm excited! I have no problem cutting a hole in my bumper to bolt on the fairlead and or tow hooks!
this is kind cool as well.

What kind of price point could you be "gentleman"?

im not sure what it will cost but i'd like to stay as close to 300 as possible
iv got a few ideas ... one is a bolt on application ... the other is just replacing the factory inner bumper with a bumper that has the winch mount built in and tow points ... I think that would be the strongest option ...

The only problem with winch for 470 GX factory bumper is you have to push some of the AC line back very carefully in order to fit the 9000 pound winch in there and there are too many plastic reinforcement in that factory bumper that needs to be cut out which then make the bumper very flexible which then vibrates at any speed but I am sure if no body else cant do it for sure THEGENTLEMAN will make it work :)))

i'll take note of that ... appreciate to confidence in me ... no pressure lol

i talked to bud built today. Bud is very confident that his 4th gen 4Runner hidden winch setup will bolt on. I would of course have to cut a hole in the bumper to fit the cable through.
I was pretty sure there was some modding required to make it fit. I would rather hold out and wait for gentlemans model since it's cheaper.
I'm not sure what to do.

4th Gen has the same frame/front end so it would bolt up, would just have to worry about the cut. I tend to agree with Bud Built.

Except for the fact that the Lexus and 4runner front bumpers are different as well as the cover/skin, body shells I think the Lexus bumper might stick out further, and the Lexus does not have the openings that the 4runners do. Would it bolt up yes, would it work? Unsure
