Thanks and thank you!Welcome to the forum! Those wheels and tire size look great!
Do you plan on doing any trails down here in So. Cal?
Assuming your in O.C. California, not Florida.
If so, what other mods do you have planned?
Yeah, they close all access to Santiago Peak (Saddleback Mtn) when there's a lot of rain to keep the roads from rutting since big utility trucks use those roads to get to the antenna's at the summit. Thanks and thank you!
Last night I hit a dirt road off of Santiago Cyn after I got my wheels and lift installed. All of the trails here in OC are closed. I've been using Alltrails and onX and can't find anything open that is local.
Nothing major planned for mods but I want to trim the front bumper and remove the side steps. I'm interested in exploring some dirt/snow trails but I don't plan to do any rock crawling or anything hardcore so I don't think I need bumpers or skid plates for now. Also trying to keep the weight down as much as possible.
Thanks for all of the info! I'm interested in some future local runs.Yeah, they close all access to Santiago Peak (Saddleback Mtn) when there's a lot of rain to keep the roads from rutting since big utility trucks use those roads to get to the antenna's at the summit.
If you're looking to do more off road trails and see awesome things, our club of level headed (not drunks or partiers doing stupid things) off roaders do a bit of everything. There are some with big Jeeps that do like to rock crawl, but many enjoy overlanding, doing day trips and overnight/weekend trips to all of So. Cal.
Even though I am very capable of rock crawling, that's not my thing. GX's are a little too expensive to be buckling door and fender panels. My wife and I enjoy the day and weekend trips. We usually do high country (read: the mountains) in the summer and deserts in the winter.
We have a great trip coming up in May to Sedona, AZ that'll be lead by our very own MUDDer, Jake (YouTube series: Wasting Time In The Woods: https://www.youtube.com/c/wastingtimeinthewoods ). Usually average a run a month, so you pick and chose what you have time for and want to do.

We will be meeting tonight at 7 PM, Hennessey's. 34111 La Plaza, Dana Point, Ca 92629 (Dana Point — Hennessey's Tavern - https://www.hennesseystavern.com/locations-dana-point )
