The 2000 100 and my 2003 GX470 are the same at 6500 lbs. capacity.
As long as your guesstimate is reasonable and the trailer is pretty light it could work, but some of the hills on the way scare me to be pulling you.
If you go up on Thursday meet at in Alpharetta and we can convoy if you are concerned.
Meeting at noon at The Union Restaurant for a bite then rolling.

I wont be driving 80 down the interstate, I have to put my dodge at a nice 65-70 so I can get good gas mileage while I cruise in the AC with the truck in Cruise Control![]()

Sure do. I have even have your choice of grey or red.
Can you verify for me your tube length though just to be sure? And, also to verify, yours is course spline, right?
Any other 1st gen stuff needed? I've parted out three; 2 LWB and 1 SWB. Fenders, motors, trans, cases, clusters, diffs, axles, etc. I don't need almost any of it anymore.
Lowe Toyota said:I really need a 5 spd trans and transfer (dual cases in my future). I'm sure there are lots of other things I need but I can't think of them right now.
I'm sure the truck has the original d/s. I can measure it tomorrow.
Sounds like I might need to make a weekend trip up there and relieve you of some of your "junk"![]()
Got stacks of trannys & cases. Don't think I'm gonna have room for a trans & case this trip, but I could possibly manage just a case. Don't know if you even want one without the other but you could at least build the duals and then bolting it to a tranny later isn't anything to do.
Definitely let me know on the d-shaft measurement; I just want to be 100% sure with no guessing that its right. Also check your bolt heads to see if they're 12 or 14mm; that'll help verify too.
You can ask most of the guys in the club and they'll definitely agree that I need to get rid of LOTS of junk. Until I bought my 85 Crawler, I was building a 79. Now my project will go a different route since I need not keep it Toyota anymore. Ironically enough, I would normally have 90% of this stuff with me at GSMTR but I'm not bringing my big trailer with "the kitchen sink" this year, just the car trailer. Had it all last year. :/

Lowe Toyota said:I'm pretty sure the original bolts were 12s but every bolt on that dang truck has been replaced with whatever the current owner had laying around in a coffee can. I think the ones that are in there now are 13s? I have no idea.
No big deal if you can't bring the stuff with you. I don't need the 5 spd or case for GSMTR. As soon as GSMTR is over, I'm diving in to the suspension and 5 spd/duals. Like I said, I can make a trip up one weekend in the Tundra.
If they were 12's originally, that's a good sign. As long as he didn't drill out the holes. :/ Still check on the length though; I just threw both shafts in my parts box and, as I thought I recalled, one is about 4" longer than the other. No idea why that is. I'll still try to grab a case for ya too. Make you a better deal than normal too cause I can't guarantee the condition.
You're more than welcome to come up to rummage, but you do realize that I'm in Memphis, right? That's gotta be around 10 hours for you. Driving slow (65ish) it takes me about 8hrs to get to Woodstock.
