Nice! Looks like the expo ride will be interesting with all terrains...lol

I'm not registered because I'm a sponsor. Might want to throw the sponsors names in that are coming.

I was wondering about that also. I know it's pretty close to D-day but none of us are listed.

Myself (and beno as my guest)
Marshall
Mike and Brian from ACC

Not on the list. That would affect the numbers on types of vehicles and how many from each state that @LDowney has been tracking.

Come on with us! I'm one of the 4, looking forward to new territory... I bet it will fill up next year once people hear more about it

I'm one of the "Fearless Four" as well, and I've only had my rig off road briefly two times!

The expedition run sounds super cool, but the description and warning might have scared a few folks off. I've never been to those parts so don't know what the terrain is like.

The description, especially the part about bringing a chainsaw if you have a RTT, were what was so enticing about this.
I also like the idea of a relatively small group, and the fact that it's kinda remote.

Is anybody else getting excited? Just a couple more days!!!

nope, not really. It's old hat by now. 45.5 hrs to departure. :moon:

Roger,
What is the schedule for Sunday? When you want to start setting up for the week and stuffing packets?
Thanks

this is gonna be a little run-on sentence but i beg your pardon. :)

Given the forecast of rain... Just wanted to throw this out there, more for fun than anything but based upon an experience last year.

If it's pouring down rain...
and you're in a hundy, fj-cruiser, 4-runner, or any other full bodied rig... with doors, A/C, defroster, power windows, 50" LED light bars, windshield wipers, roof, roof rack, etc ...
and you're coming down the mountain on the crappy paved road in said full bodied vehicle at 5 mph...
and a group of door-less, roofless trucks, buggies, crawlers or whatever comes hauling arse up behind you... with lights a flashing... racing back to camp as fast as we can go...

PLEASE, for the love of Gawd and all that is, or will be dry... Get the fork outta the way and let us go on by. :flipoff2:

Please and thank you!!! ;)

Sounds like you are speaking from personal experience...LOL!

I have said 4runner but since I do not have an LED bar or roof rack I assume I am exempt from this request?

Rob and I am going up tomorrow.
So we will start setting up Sunday morning Will start drivers bags after lunch when the rest of the crew arrives.

The description, the part about all the MUD, is what scared me off. There won't be any of that on the regular trail rides will there? :moon:
The expo trails will not be much worse than the rest of the trails the difference is there are not many gravel roads to bail out on and do a Ted type speed run back to camp. The forecast is 20-40% for first part of week so it should not rain more than 2-3 hours a day

there will be a number of people there.....you need at tires at min and mt tires would be my preference but its not that muddy at least on the parts I've been. Given the forecast you can expect some mud... but I would not hold off from going on that point.
