It's no beer in the park. The security guy at the trail head assumed if you have it you will drink it and throw the can out on the trail.

Well Hendog and I are still here in Cobb county with his fool-infected 40 in pieces trying to track down electrical gremlins. Calling it a night on account of jet lag. ETA is currently Wednesday.:steer:

FWIW, the 45 is still running fine.;)

So if you have can drinks of any kind are they confiscating? I mean I know beer is king, but they aren't the only cans, and I know glass is a no-no. Just curious.

I'm headed over...either late Thursday or early Friday

Yeah no kidding. I hope my sons sprite cans don't get taken or he might whip out his light saber and go Obi-wan on some park officer!

I was wondering about that too. What about bottled water? I can't imagine they expect people to go out on the trails all day with nothing to drink or eat.

Have you guys ever done a trail clean up. 100 beer cans to every soda can. So no they are not banning non alcohol beverages.
They have had the no drinking on the trail rule as long as I remember, they have just started enforcing it due to the litter.

I kinda figured as much. But wanted to check. It is a shame that folks can't grasp the basic concept of "pack it in - pack it out"

I would dig seeing a little Obi-Wan action though!:poof:

I "aint seen no pics" from the festivities...
