For YOU or for the truck??? :hhmm: Wait, nevermind.... I'm sure you'll already be "clenched" to the seat pretty tightly.

why limit yourself to just the truck? :meh:

Y'all might already know about this but here are a set of trail maps for Garmin GPSes.

Any info on Vender Packets. We recieved very little info last year about what you needed from us or what we could help with aproching the event. Just let us know what we can do to help.

I talked to Michael, ACC is again going to be a major sponsor of GSMTR, they will be donating some new Ironman items and doing the trophies We really appreciate their support, you all remember them when you need work or accessories

I'm in as well. Most likely the same thing as last year. Maybe come up with a package with some shirts stickers and such. Last year I paid and registered because I wanted a t-shirt. Did the same thing cause I wanted to make sure I got another shirt. I'm assuming since trail passes are separate this year vendors will be responsible for those?

I'm in also. I've already talked to Roger and Andy both. I sent out my goodies for the driver's bag already. I will also be bringing some really good giveaways including a BIG Ironman prize. Can't say what though... You guys will just have to wait and see.

I was wondering about the Vendor packets as well and what we will be responsible for paying for. (Like trail fees, shirts, etc.)

The major sponsors get a complementary registration that includes a t- shirt, Friday and Saturday evening meals, free primitive camping and an Event Decal. I will send a registration packet out soon. The land use permits are handled by the park, even for events much larger than ours, they do not discount and they do the selling. One of the reasons is they want to insure their wavier is signed and witnessed. So all participants are responsible for their own permits.
Marshal you were the first to register and I had not sent out the sponsor info. I will take care of you at the event.

Only 34 days to GSMTR, if you are not registered it’s time to go to www.stlca.org/gsmtr/ and register.
This is going to be a great wheeling event with 72,000 acres and over 300 miles of trail to play on and we will have some great activities back in camp. A large camp fire every night to sit around and see old friends and meet new ones. Friday night we will be serving hamburgers and hot dogs and Saturday night we will have a catered BBQ meal, and this year we have added a vegetarian alternative.
Then there is Saturday Nights Raffle, our major sponsors, ACC, IPOR, Metal Tech, Lowe Toyota, Southeast Overland, Trollholes Cruisers and TPI are brining lots of awesome items and many smaller sponsors are sending many great items, you don’t want to miss this raffle and as always the money raised will go to supporting continued land use issues.

29 more days!!!

Roger / Andy,
Do you have a work schedule in mind for the event? I haven't made any meetings or events since last GSMTR so I have contributed nothing in preparing for this year and am ripe for payback. What do you need help with at the event and when do you want to start?

Thanks

I am working on a schedule and will e- mail it out and ask for volunteers in a few days. We will need most everyone Friday and Saturday evenings.
