Group order for Aux Gas/Water tank?

Here is a new RV access panel I installed on driver side. It is a bit lower than I like due to internal seat belt. The quick release black plug is for shower output. On/off switch and cold/hot valve will be add next to it soon.

Hot/Cold leverage will be dipped in red rubber. The leverage's rotation is only 90 degrees up and down so the 45 degree position (horizontal position) is 50/50 hot/cold mixture.

What's cool is that if the water systems leaked inside, the water will ended up at bottom of the drainage which is six inches lower than the rear cargo.

Nice Setup Snook!

I am more motivated now to do my own setup. It will be very similar but the access panel will most likely be under the hood since I have drawers in the back. Did you install the pump and accumulator tank already?

Great set-up. Can you post a plumbing and circuit diagram? I was wondering if there are such things as an instant cooling device and a heating device? The cooling device for a drinking water faucet inside the truch (for on the move) and the instant heating for early morning showers without having to start the car. Could be either electric/solar/propane and put in series with the heat exchanger so it is used only when the engine is not hot. I know some of this is wishfull thiunking but am trying to get to an 'ideal' system just to explore what is practically possible.

Existing lift jack bracket has been trimmed and now hold the rubber isolated water pump in place.

Water filler is fitted with quick release hose so it can be used with house hose or suction hose.

Suction hose is 25ft long with water pump at end.

more pics of the tank - part 1

I've had the tank removed to change some hoses, valve and fuel pump (pump may be changed without removing tank). I remembered this thread so I took some pictures.

Guys,

I spoke to Josh at Long Ranger folks in Aus. He said the proce for the TR62 would be AUD1630 for us folks in the US (approx USD 1356). He is willing to give some kind of discount for a bulk order (3-4 tanks). He also mentioned they had recently shipped a tank to Idaho and that had cost approx AUD1300 (USD 1081). This was via air. The lead time for the TR62 is 6 weeks + the shipping time.

I'll be sending him an email to get the exact discount + shipping time from him.

I'm beginning to rethink my tank order.

Would it affect our group order if I switched to a 182 liter fuel only tank?

I have been thinking about the TR52 instead.

Would this present any problems?

Snook?
Rohitash?
Bueller?

:D

Thanks in advance,

Doug

That thing looks huge! Can somebody post a side view pic to show how far it hangs under the rear end?

Put me down for one Snook!

:princess: expressed an interest in extending the range on "her" LC this weekend. ;)

I too would like to have an extra fuel tank: 15-gallons would be nice. Don't know if I have the patience or will to do the install though . ...assuming I could even find a source for all the parts/pieces.
