He has my swb pickup on his website for years as if he owned at one point and then sold it which neither one is true. The pictures on his website are the same ones I got from the guy I bought it from in Oregon before I shipped it here. I can only imagine how many other trucks that are listed sold on there he never owned or sold.

I had a conversation with a guy in Flagstaff a few years back who was wearing a shirt with a 40 on it. Nice guy, we talked for a few minutes about his 40 and 60 and he told me he had a special contact that could get any cruiser part from anywhere in the world AND if you were lucky enough to get to know him, he would take on restoration jobs as he did for this guy. "He's not cheap, but hes the best" he said. He gives me the number and Gregs name... So, I politely shared a few Greg stories and mentioned this thread. When I said "Ih8mud" he said "Greg warned me about you people" and walked off.

I can only assume that he left in such a rush to get home and check his cruisers for fault lines in the inch thick bondo.

Right after that, I saw a 60 series that just came out of Gregs shop. The doors were about 25lbs each heavier than they normally are, popped a door panel and it was all bondo inside and out. Every body seam on the truck was non existent, roof, A pillar, rear wheel arches, everything was no longer cruiser. I would say it was a rolling bondo sculpture mostly in the shape of a 60 series.

It might of been him.

Almost 15 years ago I got a private Saturday tour by a soon to be ex employee. The worst thing I have ever seen “restoration wise” in the united states.
Legend has it he has a high school kid on site 24/7 just to stir the 5000 gallon vat of bondo. Kind of like chili at a fast food restaurant, gotta keep it from forming a skin.

In all fairness, I cannot say this is his work - But it sure looks like it. This was sitting outside of his shop in the summer of 24. At the time I did not know this was his shop, but this is where he ended up after the city took over his previous shop for a new road project. The paint and bedliner on the body looked pretty fresh.

OK serious question....he just called me wanting to buy my FJ60. Do I sell to this guy? I don't want anyone to be scammed by him with MY truck...

Hard no, absolutely not.

Mushro doesn’t need to be given any opportunity to make money off the Cruiser Community if at all possible.

Any truck he buys will be an opportunity for him to make profit, that’s his business. His very slimy business.

Do you really need to be told not to deal with a documented scumbag scam artist?
Proactively, do not put your bare hand on a hot manifold.
