Those look better than I thought they would! Thanks for the video!

Also, did I see the bottom of a Leslie cabinet in the background??

Haha, good eye my man! Yeah that's a Leslie 122RV....you can also see the foot pedals for a B3, and maybe even the legs of a B3 at some point. My living room is a sea of cool stuff that very few people know is cool ;)

Man, thanks so much for making the video. All things considered, the covers look great!

Yeah, if you take the time to remove the seat(s) and do some extra pulling and prodding, you can get them looking almost perfect....certainly much better looking than the typical old battered seat with cracking leather.

I saw the foot pedals as well. Very cool!! I’m a musician (well, I’m a former life anyway) and saw those bottom gills on the cabinet. 🍻

I'll also say I HIGHLY recommend removing the entire seat to get the best results. Yes it'll take 10-20 minutes (or less) the remove the seat, but it'll save you WAY more time than that, and you'll have a much easier time getting much better results.
Do you have seats with “piping”?

My Land Cruiser only has 20k some miles on it so the seats are in excellent condition, but thats the reason for investing into covers.. so hopefully the seats don't look like typical battered seats in 10+ years haha.

Definitely going to take mine out. Have you tried the heated seats with them? Just wondering if you can still feel the heat ok.

Sunny is online now. I just placed my order with her. $288 all in for first 2 rows.

She says expected turn around should be 3-4 weeks to my door.

Adding for future ordering.

After a little back and forth, I ended up switching my color to off white.

Here is the sample:

I'm going back and forth deciding on cloth vs faux leather for my order... decisions, decisions. Any inputs are welcomed 🙂

For the group buy, can we change the color? Maybe add a little pop. Darker type of red or Orange seats maybe? Thinking out loud here.

I’d love to go cloth, but….golden retriever
Also, cloth isn't waterproof, unless there's something under the cloth, or if you add some kind of hydrophobic spray coating. Cloth can be removed and washed though, but honestly, removing these once installed, washing, then reinstalling would be a PITA. Is anyone realistically gunna do that?

There's pros and cons, such as "breathability". It's not like we're comparing it to genuine leather either :)

I can check with EKR if the cloth option has any sort of hydrophibic spray coating from the factory.

That said, if that is of concern, they also offer neoprene covers too...

Okay, I finally made a video with a detailed look at these seat covers, not only installed, but also going through the installation steps. Watch til the end, because there is some operator error on the headrest and seatback that I clear up in the last 5 mins or so.

Good job on the install and the video. Looked pretty nice. Curious to see if you can feel the heated seat working and the cooling as well?

I've got a Toyota (not Lexus) Cruiser, so no cooled seats. The heated seats will work fine. Faux leather and a little padding is not a good insulator....the heat has to go somewhere, so that shouldn't be an issue at all.

If I understand correctly, cooled seats rely more on evaporative cooling from air being blown through little holes. These covers will block the air, and thus cooled seats won't work....unless they rely on actual cooled/air conditioned air, which I don't think they do. If they did, again, the covers are not a good insulator so the cold would get through.

I’ll get mine ordered tomorrow. They weren’t online yesterday or today. I wonder how long shipping takes.

What time are you guys able to chat with them? I’ve tried to chat, but apparently I am not trying at the correct times. @Supra Turbo @lx200inAR @bloc

They seem to come online around 7pm. That was what @Supra Turbo told me and they immediately started responding to me at 7pm (CST). If you are using their chat platform and have it set up with your email, you can start a conversation and they will pick it up once they come online. You should be looking for Sunny. I think possibly you can select their name after getting to the chat platform.

Also, to your other question, they told me 3-4 weeks to build and ship (1.5-2 weeks for each step).

Ditto. I'll be placing my order this evening too. Will confirm regarding having these on hand, but originally was told 3-4 weeks.

With the EKR, it's hard to tell in the video, but does it feel a bit more supportive than the factory? Not sure if anybody else experiences this, but I often feel like I'm sliding down/forward a bit in my 2011 LX if I'm wearing jeans. I'm waffling between these or biting the bullet on the Wet Okole's for the front which have additional lumbar support, but come in around $480 just for the fronts.

Do you have the front thigh support all the way out. I feel this a little when that is not exteneded. But not really as long as it is. Maybe try lifting the front of the seat a little?
