Naked look looks nice, especially on a white truck!

shaved is mo better

Phil the FJ60 emblem is 1 1/2 inches high and 11 1/2 inches wide. Would it fit on the horizontal surface of the lower ladder mount in between the rails?

Phil, what is that ladder rated for weight capacity as mounted?

I can't find it on anybody's website!

Thanks for the dimensions:clap:
The ladder is a little less than 10" wide but the space to the right where the old emblem lived is 2" x 18":hmm:

Sound like a test fit is in order

Phil is a website ninja - finds things others cannot ;)

There are a lot of better options for removal methods but non better than my choice at 8pm Sunday:grinpimp:
Been wanting a rear hatch ladder for a while now to access the top of my CampTeq for a quick access to the viewing platform. One of our CSC club members took a chance and ordered one and after checking it out I knew it was the one for me.

Comes packaged well with all the needed hardware for a complete install. The design and the way it attaches to the hatch is first rate. The only other tool you really need to complete the install is hand pliers. Instruction are complete with lots of pictures(5 pages). I did the install but did not like the way it covered the Land Cruiser emblem. I decided to removed the emblem and start L-o-n-g tedious process of removing the adhesive under it. Once removed I hit it with the buffer and its hard to tell it was ever there. It does look naked back there and was thinking maybe and emblem from a 60 series???

The ladder is very solid and secure much so than I would of expected. At 200lb it feels like it could take much more weight making the hatch the weak link. Also with the additional weight my original strut still lift and hold the hatch open just fine for now.

Retail pick up price $180

Thinking of maybe adding this in place of the OEM emblem next to the ladder.

I like the ladder! However, I love your rear bumper. Who make your bumper? THanks.

Are you being vague on purpose?

No, he's not being an arse or hiding anything. I also saw a pic of a Gobi-equipped ride last year, started asking around and also got stonewalled trying to track down (they don't make it easy to get these for no obvious reason). I finally got turned on to a gentleman at Axxis Offroad who helped me with the order - it was nice for someone else to pick up on my behalf when no one would return a phone call or email sent directly to Gobi. It took ~4 weeks from memory before I had a ladder in my hands.

I know I'm not the first to get one of these but might be one with it installed the longest (?). Does that make me Gobi One? Nevermind.....

That sure makes it sound like they are difficult to get. I'd like a ladder of some sort this spring but I'm not going to pull my hair out trying to get one. The ladder was posted here and I was trying to inquire about how to get one. Guess getting this one likely wouldn't happen. I like the idea of it not being a swing out but it looks like I'll just look to getting one built locally.
