Thanks again for all the info! Definitely interested in the frame etc. How different are the 79 frames from a 70? The diffs are prob different than what I have, etc. But I would love the disc brakes, too. I sent a message about it from the for sale ad

So I am thinking that frame and lift deal is, well, a pretty good deal. I will try the Terrain Tamer parabolic springs on my next 60 for sure. But just too good of a local deal I think to pass up. Couple of questions for the class (herd). The frame is a 79 and my Pig is a 70. Any major frame differences? I think my frame is pretty solid though and the vin matches, so doubt I will do anything with the frame. (HEY anyone need just the frame??) Also wondering about the gears in the diffs from 70 - 79...which is more desirable? I want to swap the disc brakes over, thinking rebuilding the whole axles etc first and then swapping them in with the 'new' springs...thoughts??

That would probably be easiest to go through the knuckles in the "new" front axle and then install with the new springs.

I have done ZERO work so far!!! I was very busy with cruise moab stuff then I was the Chairman for the ColoYota Expo and that took up SOOOOOO much time but what a success!! I will be posting up pics soon of the Piggies that were there. And been getting my FJ62 situated. Hopefully will be getting back into the Ghost Pig soon

I would really really love to drive this to SAS! But that only gives me less than 2 months, and I have 1 other wheeling trip in there and 1 week vacation out of the country. Prob best to drive the 62 to SAS and take my time on the pale piggy
