I assume these are Pre 94 covers.

So as we continue with this development I need some help for the 94+ 80 series owners. We have the rear back cover with the net. We can recover it with vinyl no issue there. I was wondering if people wanted a full cloth seat cover or just the part where you sit. I have attached whats on my BJ70 now and what I would think would look good on the 80. Let me know your thoughts.

100% clothe here also. An nice tan canvas material would be perfect and even better if its water resistant.

Thats it, thats the solution for me too. I dont mind the plastic on the rear, easy to clean and wont get much wear.
 
Agree with Cloth on whole seat, with a pocket on the back. Grey is my preference and I like that "checkered" pattern.

I have a '91. Are you planning on patterns for 91-92 also? Mine doesn't have a net on the back, but wonder if I could source some and put that option in place?

Looks like full cloth is the ticket. I have 3fe templates as well so yes they will be available

I wasnt aware of the rear with back panel in cloth. Thanks for the picture. Now its just a matter of picking 2-3 patterns and onto manufacturing.
 
For those you have kids and use the 80 as daily, the rear cloth is going to turn black with shoe prints in the very near future. Vinyl will clean a lot easier. I also prefer the Vinyl/cloth look more. It gives it more detail then having just all cloth IMO.
 
Will you have matching door panel peices and center console lid to go with the covers?

Yes the center console cover would be in cloth. As well as fabric to recover the door cards.
 
Another full cloth vote - Like my 94 cloth better than my son's leather LX450 96 - his needs replacement. We need the tan/brown tone; closer to OEM pattern the better Great to see the progress!
 
I vote cloth seating area/front and vinyl rear. Kids will dirty up the rear with shoes and projectile Cheerios. I am a 96'er wanting to do the leather to cloth swap.
 
It likes like we have a concensus between full cloth and rear vinyl. We can do both. Now I just need to pick colors. We have BROWN and GRAY in our trucks. Can someone post pictures of brown cloth seats. I wonder if the design is the same on all grays and browns.
 
I know nothing about textiles but I know I dont like the patterns shown. I do like the idea of a canvas type of material in a solid single or possibly two tone arrangement . Would a Sunbrella type of material work in an application like this? Adding a Molle pouch system would be awesome as well. If this has been covered already, let the flogging begin.
