Finished product--I guess I had thought mine would have had the YakAttack mounting holes drilled already, but it did not. In hindsight I probably should have waited to drill the holes and then get it powder coated, but the holes are covered and you can't see the tiny bit of bare metal anyway. Verdict is this thing is absolutely awesome and the low profile version is exactly what I had hoped for. Got the RAM Quick Grip coming for easier one handed in and out for the phone on recommendation from a MUD user

I just got it put on right before posting up here, so I haven't had a chance to see it in the day. It definitely kicks my lights on at night still, but I am worried it will keep lights on during the day. I could either make the hole larger or I wonder if it is possible to adjust the sensitivity through TechStreamDoes the dash sensor for day/night still get enough exposure and work correctly?
The one I had wasn't drilled yet, but I guess perhaps the next batch will be; it's for the 9" XL GearTracWhich Yak Gear track are these pre-drilled for? I need to know which part number to look for/purchase.
Update to this, drove around a fair bit yesterday during the day and my light sensor worked like normal without adjusting the sensitivity in the menus. The real test would be to now drive at dusk and see how soon my lights turn onDoes the dash sensor for day/night still get enough exposure and work correctly?
Do you expect that a Rev B of the 16-21 version will be coming along with the same changes relatively soon? I agree that most will probably go with the Yak Attack track.Rev B of the 05-15 version is at the sheet metal place. I adjusted the teeth around the perimeter to get it to fit better, also simplified the hole pattern quite a bit as it's looking like more folks will lean towards a Yak Attack track rather than individual Ram mounts. So holes are there for both now, but not as many individual Ram mount holes.
Now that's just cruel teasing us all like that.I have another little product in production now also, totally different from these guys but will have them in stock in about 2 weeks so will just post up the finished deal once they're in. Another accessory mount, but for the other side of the vehicle...![]()
Excellent!. once these work we'll shift gears to the early model LX.
yes those are on order.... eta about 3/15. And glad I piqued your interest!Do you expect that a Rev B of the 16-21 version will be coming along with the same changes relatively soon? I agree that most will probably go with the Yak Attack track.

I can let you guys know when they are in.Think I'll have to break down and order the 16-21 revision version as well. Do we wait and order when you tell us they are in or request it and order now?
My next version is supposed to ship by Friday... so most likely next week I'll receive it, evaluate it, then place the first production batch.Any ETA on the 08-15 version? I'll be going with the 9" Yak Attack also FYI.
That is going to be great to see! Tell your son it's a 2" hole spacing for where I have been mouting the switch and socket holders, same dimension as those flat USB ports, if you already have one of those in hand.I'm looking forward to having this set up in advance of some trips. I'm still collecting parts at this point. I'm going to use the yakattack adjustable mount mentioned above, three quick attach ball mounts, two flat mount dual USB plugs and a 3D printed mount for my Dual XGPS puck (son is customizing one from thingiverse and printing it out of ABS). It should make a great cockpit setup for travel and adventure. I think I'm just going to prep and paint with SEM satin black trim paint, since I have some handy (and the satin should help avoid glare). I have an ipad mini for navigation, picked up a mic clip that attaches to a ram style mount, and may throw my phone on the third one (or a future purchase Spot device).
