Looks nice. I think you are a lot farther along than I am.

Just finished looking through your thread well done seems to be a pretty high quality build I’m wanting to do one similar but I’ll be using the 12ht/H55f combo.
I was just wondering if it’s possible you could post photos of all your body mounts on the frame and how you got the back of the 60 body to clear the chassis I believe it needs some cutting to fit ? Thanks from Australia

I had to cut the body right on the body seam over the rear wheel wells. I cut it as close to the body as possible without cutting into the cabin. Here are some of the mounts, excuse the center mount welding my teenage son did it. The body is off getting painted so I can’t take pictures.

Another plus of the FZJ drivetrain is the AWD transfer case. Very stable, kicks butt in bad weather!

Your build is looking great!

Did you weld the mounts to be at standard height or set them to give it more clearance like a body lift?

Looking Great! Curious how the dash will come out.

The body was mounted as low as possible. I trimmed the rear wheel wells up to the body seam. Once the body is mounted it’s only about an inch higher than stock.

The dash mounts have already been designed and built, just waiting for the body to return from paint to start the assembly. The dash is only about .75 of an inch different than a 62, the hardest part was getting the AC to fit.

Yeah man. Ready for more.

I saw the project last month and it is nice.

Just purchased all the paint and supplies yesterday, should be moving the body into the barn this week to get started and yes it’s 464 tan

Yes doing single stage, just like Mr T did it in the day!

I'm really liking the idea of this swap in my 62... Anyone in the Southeast want to do it? I am short on time and have no experience for this level of project...

I have a H55/split case that can go with the 1FZ....
