Fusible links are dead - long live this replacement kit

Going to be pushing more on that this weekend as a matter of fact. It's difficult when I don't own a 62 - I have to arrange visits with a few people in town that I know who own them.
I’m fairly certain I have my old fusible link I could send you to use as you need for research or whatever.

Got one on hand, but thanks! I used it to match up the connectors with ones that are still available and decipher the level of fusing for each link.

Any update on the 62 replacements?
The subharnesses are in process right now. The first batch will be mostly pre-sold, and when I put them on sale, I'll need a little lead time to make the second batch. The process for making them is being dialed in right now, so the wait on the next batch won't take terribly long.

Just installed the FJ62 FLRK this weekend, one of the easiest parts I've installed! I am seeing a small (0.3v) voltage drop from before the install. Went from pretty consistent 14.1 down to 13.8 v. Anyone else seen anything like this or have any thoughts on what might be going on? Or no big deal?
Super happy with the kit.

I saw a slight increase.
There is nothing to draw.
I cleaned the heck out of everything I didn’t replace.

Anybody can always PM Or email directly with questions or concerns. Send me a PM and let me see what you’ve got going on.

Check the plug in connector on the back of your alternator. It may have come loose during the install.
edit...sorry meant for Dirt Boy!

Meant for Dirt Boy or not, if that plug came loose you’d have far greater problems than a .3 voltage drop.

State of battery charge is highly relevant here.. are you comparing like for like? Your system voltage will be lower on a battery with a state of charge that's low.. maybe reassess after you're confident that your battery is at 100% SOC.

Very well may have had to do with SOC.
Firing up after work yesterday and this morning and doing my commute (short), everything seems to be fine or even a small gain in volts now. I still see 13.9v at 800rpm idle after warm up but bumping up to 1000 rpm it goes right to 14.1v.

So bottom line, FLRK works great, easy install, great support. Installer should address vehicular paranoia and observe longer. 🙄😆
