Those are not degree shims, they are there to help the spring slide easier.
You need some steel wedge shims to bring your pinion angle up.

First though you need to get that shaft attached properly. Got those pics yet so we can see WTH your talking about?

watched the vid. My guess is the angle is making the DC hit itself on every rotation. Can you see any wear at the joint on the body between them (whatever that is called)? Should be getting some good rubbing if so.

Can you do degree shims on an SOA?

are you locked up front? if so, what about pulling the driveshaft, leaving the hubs locked and driving. That would let you know real quick if it is the D shaft.

Yes he can, and that Pionion Angle (from the video) is HORRIBLE. He should throw an angle finder on there and see what it accualy is, kinda looks negative or totaly flat to me. (hows the caster/camber that would give you a clue)

The noise is defenitly drive shaft, ditch that thing and put a single CV shaft in there and see how it does.

so you don't think it's worth having the shaft rebuilt and fixing the angle.

If your buddy is correct and you have 2 double cardian joints on that one shaft, then yes, have the correct shaft (one DC joint), attached correctly, with good joints in it... installed in your truck. Start there.

while I haven't seen everythign by any means, your's is the only 4WD I have seen with two DC joints in a driveshaft. See my response to your PM and let's measure what caster/pinion angle you have. What is the story on that front DS? Did you put it on, if so from where?

I'll bet anythign therein lies your problem.

your drive live angle should be 16/14 or pointed at the t/c.

No po put it on, i called number that was on the shaft in tucson az. Guy said he can rebuild it for $140. However, i have to pay the shipping cost which will be rather costly. Why would the double shaft be a problem?

You need to fix the cause of the problem first, There has to be some one around you that can cut and turn your axle for you?

there are PLENTY of people running rigs with the 4 inch lift kit without cut n' turns. Why do i NEED it? I don't have the funds to pay for something like this. I have to look for an alternative idea.

If you were closer I would do it for free a or maybe a

badass I just watched you video. From what I can see of you suspension you shackle is very long you could shorten up up some to get some angle back.
