Got more things done today. Really glad the site provided by @ToyotaMatt has a few collars and switches that were missing or broken by me because I am a meat head. Although no luck finding the wiper plug sadly.

Had issues with the lift gate. But it’s off.

hopefully I can get a few more parts off before stuffing this into the already full garage.

Making good headway with the switches and even safely removed the lower dash pad(one section)

Although the choke(?) is giving me a little trouble since there is no set screw holding the knob on.

Last update for the night. I got all switches out (except the FD). I think this is good enough progress before I head to work for the evening.

Tomorrow’s goal is to remove the remaining items on this side of the firewall.
Weekend project will be removing everything forward of the firewall. Stay tuned y’all.

I *am* Red/green colorblind! XD
Hence the extra hell it has been. Ah yes white wire with pink stripe, white wire with brown strip, white wire with faded red stripe. Fml.

Also I swore that I saw *somewhere* on the forums someone who does new plugs for the older style wipers. Despite my great care it still got a little damaged.

Despite checking each category, finding a switch I needed , a few collars that I damaged, but not the plugs you showed in your post.

i don't really offer small hardware items yet , ..........too small for small stuff

hopefully in the next year or 2 i can start to introduce some needed connectors and stuff

PM me for special all access pass to NipponDensoLand ......

I cannot express my anger atm. I managed to pull every single other switch including a few extras ( shout out to jamister1 for giving me a cutout dash!), HOWEVER, the two I specifically needed from the dash managed to both break the collars and one destroyed the switch itself.
Not looking forward to having source two heater switches( Or at least one since I do not have a rear heater)

At the very least I may run one heater switch and use the other hole to run an aux light switch. (Found one on the site provided by @ToyotaMatt )

On a side note I *was* able to safely remove the knobs and set screws. So not all is lost.

Here is a following of all switches I was able to remove from the two dashes. Unfortunately not pictured is the two heater switches which remain firmly attached to the other dash with one broken. The other might be salvageable if I can get the collar off.

The only missing switches are the following, two heater switches, a cigarette knob, wiper switch(or knob only possibly), and a throttle knob or assembly/w knob.

Wiper motor appears to be all here. The plugs are worse for the wear.

I will definitely need a male and female plug, two wiper arms(or at least one since the other is okish, and the rubber gaskets that go around the bolts.

Just trucking along. Time to remove some bigger items. Be nice to see some visual progress again. The little items are killing me (and my back)

Hood safely off!

Just now seeing your thread. For a first time Cruiser owner, you're really fitting in nicely.

Since you've exposed the bib on the white Cruiser, a fact no one has addressed yet... The late model bibs with the square bezel (I hate by the way) was changed because the US demanded that Toyota make the headlights farther apart. Rather than change the whole front, the simply slid the headlights out a little but that left less room for the round bezel. Notice that the bezel is thinner outbound of the headlights. A square one fixed the issue.

Now, go back to your previously scheduled rebuild...
