Sorry for the bad info...just keepin' an eye out for you guys. :frown:

Please pass on any leads Jim. I wish they had a system that would trigger e-mails when they got a specific model in inventory. They turn the inventory in the foreign car area about every 6 months so new junkers come in every day.

FYI, there are about 10 4Runners but they were picked over pretty good. The trip was not wasted because I got a few Taco parts.

WTB:

60 series rolling chassis. Need it for a diesel mock up, no need for a good body.

What's your time frame Rory? I've got one (1985) but it still has a lot of other things on it that I want to keep or try to Ebay. I could work on getting it stripped of all the useful stuff. Only the inner fenders are left up front. The engine's going to be the hardest thing for me to find a home for around my dad's place. I want to rebuild, desmog and install in my '72 40.

Well... it is for a friend. Right now he is a little busy with remodeling the bathroom, but we were talking about working on it for the Winter shutdown. That is kinda short notice for you though.

I don't think I can help you out that soon.

Well...

I have to give up the ghost. I posted my 40 on craigslist. I have too many bills and not enough income. The 40 was great fun, but needed more to be as comfotable as I'd like it. We will keep the 80 and hopefully get another 40 when Molly has graduated.

I know the price is high, but I'm kinda fishin to see what bites :D

I see it sold. Anyone we know?

Tiedown Straps/ Oh S#!t Handles

I had 10 of these made so I can have something to clip/tie cargo straps and nets to in the cargo area of my 60. I'm keeping 4 of them. I think they would also make good handles for pulling down hatches that are too high for short people (nobody in particular) to reach, or 'Oh S#!t' grab handles. The round hole is a little over 1/4" diameter. The metal is 1/8" thick. It's not obvious but the 1" webbing is sewn so that it makes one large loop that slides freely until the overlapped and sewn section comes to the slot in the bracket. It'll pass through but it's a little tight. The claimed working load of the bracket is 335 lbs. $5 to HDC members and friends as long as you don't want me to mail them. $10 if you want me to ship them.

Healthometer Physician Balance Beam scale with height rod

I have a balance beam scale seen in many doctors' office. It's similar to this unit. It has a height measuring rod too. My model is 502KL PRO Series and the usage was minimal. Owners manual and receipt are included.

Haven't unpacked it from the original packaging since we moved so it needs to go. Asking price is $75/OBO.

Thanks.

MAF U Bolts

New U-bolts that came with my lift kit for my 40. I decided later to buy the u-bolt flip kit, so I do not need them. I believe they are for the E-07/80 since ordered them for my '71 40. Steve from MAF said he would give me some credit, but by the time I box and ship them back who knows. Thought I would see if anyone here wants them for about half price ($25).

1977 FJ40 For Sale, $1500, Pecos NM

Howdy,

I found this 40 for sale in Pecos the other day. I was thinking about buying it but decided against it and thought I would try to help the guy sell it. I wanted to post it here first before on the main forum classifieds. He said it ran a year ago when it was parked. He said it had a recent engine rebuild. Its rough but the price isn't bad. He is asking $1500. The guys name is Josh and his number is 505-920-0682.
