Mike makes a good point - a well put together 4-6" lift is worth a *lot* more than a 2-3" lift. With the 2-3" lift you're stuck with dinky 33" tires. Also, getting a vehicle from the south means (generally) less rust.

Not true. You can run 35's on the 3" lift by dropping the bumpstops the same as the 4"lift.

My current set-up is OME J's Up front with weight, and OME Heavys in rear with 10mm trimpacker equalling around 3" all around.

I like the idea of running bigger tires without going taller.

If I want 35's, I can run them on my truck with minor fixes. I would regear for the 35's though.

I responded to the ad and he sent me a phone#. Just talked with him. Asked about the two posts. He said he did post the two, said he had a long day and it is a 97. He said he will take pics and send them to me. Never hurts to look I guess.

He sent me pics that i requested (looks in decent shape). I guess not a scam. I emailed him back and said there were quite a few of these with more mods and less milage so I have to pass. Don't think anyone here would be interested. There were no common locker switches in the pics.
