I have one some where. It belongs to mt SOR top. I will take it to the meeting to see if it works for you.

Thanks - see you there!

Here's more on the built 60 in Corrales - our 4 sale thread is getting fractionated. ADD is a tragic, tragic thing.

Aren't we supposed to have a moderator or is he too busy chasing women to do his job?

I guess Evan and Dan are real busy.

Does the FJ45 come with the sailboat?

I was looking around Craigslist and found **this** ad. Look what's hiding behind the sailboat for sale. Think he'll throw that in for free if I buy the sailboat?

Now, that's cool.

If you land that 45 for $150, you'd be my hero. And then I try to buy it from you for $149 :D

Did you email him? Doesn't look like a stock color.

I sent an email offering $200 for the sailboat if he throws the 45 in for free. Then I invited him to check out the website and club section of the MUD forum. I got a kick out of the non-stock rims but was discouraged by the street tires.

FJ45 behind sailboat update

I actually got a response from the sailboat owner regarding the FJ45:

************************************

FJ45 Belongs to a friend. I believe it to be a '84. This is its second visit to the western hemisphere, the first time it went from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego. The club sounds cool , I'll pass the info along to my friend.

** CRAIGSLIST ADVISORY --- AVOID SCAMS BY DEALING LOCALLY
** Avoid: wiring money, cross-border deals, work-at-home
** Beware: cashier checks, money orders, escrow, shipping

If you throw in the FJ45 in the background, I'll give you $200 for the sailboat.

I know you're ad is for the boat but what's the story on the Troopy in the background? I'm a Land Cruiser enthusiast that's a member of a local Toyota 4WD owners club called High Desert Cruisers. Have you ever heard about it? We're always looking for new members to come out, show off their trucks and have some fun off-roading. We're a family friendly organization that meets once a month for a social gathering and outing planning. Here's the club website :

and our club's web forum :

Another FJ45 update

I suppose everything has its price but I'm sure this guy isn't stupid. Here are replies to my inquiries on the FJ45 hiding behind the sailboat:

Yes, legally transferable; one catch: the person who received the voucher has to make the reservation and ticket it, even if it is for someone else.

So whomever you sell this too (by the way, it is illegal to sell it, but I won't say anything) has to have you with them when you redeem this.

Unless, you have an e-voucher--

If you have questions, PM me.

Funny guy.

Don't listen to Beno, he really works for American Toyota. He is just trying to get a free ride on Delta at your expense.

Thanks for not busting me! Not getting much interest anyway. I do appreciate the info.

If that's a green one, I remember when it was broken down in Questa several years ago. I wanted it then, too, it's a beauty. I think it had a 5speed and LSD rear end, dunno what engine it had. Huge aluminum roof box for all their travel stuff, and swiss plates.

I suppose everything has its price but I'm sure this guy isn't stupid. Here are replies to my inquiries on the FJ45 hiding behind the sailboat:

I'm in need of a rear FJ40 shock so I can fabricate the rear shock mount. Anybody have one lying around I can borrow?
